Jeff and his technician Rick have done an exllent job in repairing/rebuilding brick chimney of my house and brick pillars of my front porch. Rick holds a high standard of his work and added additional value to my house. The whole project was finished within 10 days after I made a online quote request. They are very professional. I hired Brookside in 2013 to repair my chimney and front and rear porches. Jeff and the workers were courteous and professional and I only had one concern at the time. The chimney cap was far too thin and only came to the edge of the brick. I commented that it may not survive freeze thaw cycles but Jeff reassured me that this is how things are being done now with the new concretes that are on the market. He even suggested that I did not need an aluminum cap installed by another company at an additional charge. He said mine would last 20 years. It lasted one year. Brookside repaired the cap and said that they used additional hardener. It lasted one year. Brookside repaired the cap again only slightly thicker. It lasted two years. Jeff said that they would come out to assess the problem but they are now refusing to return calls and it is now one year. I have quotes to repair the damage for around $2000 since two layers of bricks need to be repaired now because of water penetration. I wish that the company would stand by their work and I would gladly update this comment.
