Great interior work during some extremely humid days and a room that ended up requiring 4 coats of paint (more than expected). John was an excellent communicator in advance and during the painting. Extremely competent, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Thank you and Naomi for a job well done!

John Welch ,to begin with, is a delightful and honest person to work with . Not to mention very patient. He is a painter with many years experience. My project was staining the trim of my large, high gabled western red cedar house.His ladder agility is very impressive.He was very helpful choosing the right color and his work was excellent with impressive attention to detail. He was always very prompt and the work area was kept organized at all times. The work was finished ahead of the estimated time with very reasonable rates.House looks fabulous!Very pleased with this painter.

Welch's painting has done high quality work in and outside our home. They work quickly and carefully, and the prep work is exceptional to ensure visually smooth surfaces and a long lasting paint job! John even discovered a leak we were unaware of and patched and painted the portion of the ceiling and it looks like new. I trust their judgement and advice on materials etc. We are loyal customers!

John was a wonderful person to work with. He kept you informed as to what he had to do, he let you know the times he would be there, he cleaned up his work area before he left and let you know what time he would arrive.

Every step of this process was easy as it could be.From the first contact via email, through bidding/estimating and starting day 6 months later, John Welch was easy to reach and clear as a bell. He helped me with color and materials choices as well as clearly defining the parameters and goals of the job, and I felt completely confident in his advice.They did a great job protecting our gardens and containing the debris from lead paint removal. Every single employee was polite and friendly and a good, hard worker. John must be a good boss, because, as hard and fast as they scraped and painted and scrubbed, they were calm and even happy as they worked - it was a pleasure to have them around.The final job is excellent. We’re really enjoying the compliments from our neighbors (they must be so relieved, LOL.) And our house is about 90 years old with a host of pending maintenance issues.Oh, and they kept a tidy job site all the time.I couldn’t recommend anyone with more confidence.

Highly, highly recommend Welch's Painting! They just completed painting the exterior of my house, barn and garage - not an easy task as the buildings range in age from 110+ to 15 years and, while mostly shingled, are a mixture of wood coverings representing many decades. These old buildings have never looked so good or so compatible with each other!
