Very unique eco system. Acidic soil. Only plants that can endure low nitrogen soil or those that trap bugs can survive.

Short loop but lots to see so go slowly and watch carefully. Several orchid varieties. Several types of carnivorous plants. Bog specific birds. Very nice to see this interesting bog peat habitat protected.

Short but niceThe road to this isolated boardwalk is rough, with a somewhat confusing last-minute stop sign to go straight (you will know what I mean if you go). Some trash and evidence of a teen fire in the small parking area that had a pile of dirt in the middle, but nothing off putting. The boardwalk itself is showing some signs of wear but a nice easy walk.

Absolutely beautiful. Great winter experience snowshoeing there. Winter or summer it's a hidden gem.
