Fireplace Experts - Gas Fireplace Installation, Maintenance & Repair

Inherited a 27 year old gas fireplace from a previous home owner. Seven years ago Fireplace Experts installed a wireless on/off (which works when there is a power cut) and cleaned out insects that had taken up residence in the gas supply. This year we had the igniter assembly replaced. Very pleased that Fireplace Experts have kept our fireplace up and running for so long. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for: experience and competence.

Highly recommend Fireplace Experts. Our fireplace was not working and upon review was determined to be dangerous. Collin (who is awesome) assessed the situation, provided several options and sound advice and within 30 minutes had me back up and running SAFELY. I will be having Fireplace Experts service our units annually from now on.

I made a mistake and thought I had a gas fireplace when in fact it was an electric fireplace. The technician was extremely helpful and did not even charge me for the call. I was most impressed with their service and honesty.

Highly recommend this service - Collin, who serviced our fireplace, was professional, honest, and quickly assessed (and quickly fixed) the issue with our fireplace. Before the service, he helpfully provided us his professional opinions on the different options available to fix the issue and was very easy to work with.

I am very satisfied with the work done by Collin. We had limited use of the fireplace for the last years following maintenance by another company which left the fireplace with stripped screws for the glass front. Collin was able to extract the stripped crews, and did a complete assessment of the (22-year old) fireplace. We ended up by replacing the gas valve and replacing the hard-wired control wall-mounted switches with a handheld/battery powered remote control unit. Collin worked with me further to tidy up the control wiring inside the firebox to accommodate some planned electrical work. A drop cloth was used to protect our hardwood floor and granite hearth, the firebox and media (logs) were given touch-up spray paint, and everything was vacuumed and left in tidy and clean condition. The glass front was thoroughly cleaned, and fireplace looks and works great.Collin was thorough and explained what he was doing and why. Never again. Fireplace Experts are a real rip off. Be warned and stay away from them. We asked them to provide annual maintenance on our Valor fireplace. They sent Colin who talked and talked and talked and did nothing but charged us $180. A real rip off. Be warned. Never again and I sent them an email telling them so.Just read the owners response. I stand by my review. It’s up to others to make their own decisions on who they will choose to service their fireplace. Buyer beware!

This company went above and beyond my expectations. The technician was on time and extremely knowledgeable. He fixed the issues I have been having with my fireplace efficiently and left the area clean. 100% recommend!
