Tara is a gem and a wealth of knowledge on curly/coily/kinky hair. She was amazing at listening to what my hair goals are. She’s also just a gem and very multitalented, I look forward to the Braiding Lounge continuing to grow and be such an amazing peice of our community.

10/10 would, have and will continue to recommend. I've lived in HFX for 2 years now and this spot reminds me of home (GTA). The decor is lovely, the lighting makes for great pictures of the finished service, Tara is great- awesome to talk to (if you feel like chatting) and knows what's she's doing. Got a deep treatment and silk press- will be going back and bringing my roommate with me.

My 12 year old daughter absolutely loved her experience. Big shout-out to Tara for such an amazing, friendly, and an educational experience. Definitely be back!
