Heron Terrace

Heron Terrace is a great place to work. Management is so amazing and well managed well equipped well maintained. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I am super happy with the warm reception who welcome us guide us so kindly. I recommend everyone looking for jobs at Heron Terrace, it’s exceptionally so beautiful location to work in.

Terrible place to work at, family in the PSW field had warned against how crooked the company and management can be when a friend of mine was hired. They let her go after a work injury and put down a false reason for why they were let go. They don't care about their employees at all, and will fire you before you make your 90 day hours. Avoid at all costs

Management does not know how to handle conflicts properly. Very unfair and lazy. They blame the victim and let the perpetrator get away with unbelievable behaviours.

First class care in Shallows Lane

My Aunt has been in Herron Terrace almost a year now. The PSWs that have taken care of her have been amazing BUT as for management I'm not impressed with. No one ever answers the phone, visitation rules are changing every week. They have rules absolutely no other home has in place. My mom and I did their little class and test in order to be allowed in to visit and we are still waiting to be able to go in. We have been trying to get a hold of someone to book an appointment and as usual no one answers the phone anywhere. It if it wasn't for the PSWs that have cared for my aunt and that I have talked to the rating would be lower.

Dont work there if you are a caregiver or a nurse, when you are new, they will make excuses to fire you, they use the phone all the time ,doing absolutely nothing and when you answer a text when the client is asleep they will report you immediately. Management would never listen to new employees, they only listen to other employees that want to make u fired.. just avoid working there

Our mom passed away this week. While at Heron Terrace,she received the best compassionate care we could imagine. In fact, when she was at the hospital last week she wanted to go back to her home because the staff was so nice to her. Every staff member seemed to know and recognize her when we went on our walks. Both mom and dad, who visited every day, were treated like family. What a phenomenal group of employees, especially in Shallows Lane!
