Extremely prejudiced, colluded, and corrupt organization:They did not disclose all case files to the Applicant but to all other parties, until one minute before, on the last day of the statute of limitation. The Vice Chair had interrupted the normal proceedings (direct negotiation process between the parties), omitted/suppressed the Applicant's served evidences, and cancelled the hearing without any justifiable reason. When the Applicant filed an official complaint against them, they told the Applicant via an OLRB lawyer, to sue the Ontario government.

There were spelling errors in the decision written by the VC for my case. Thanks for rushing through something I worked extremely hard on. Did not even read the merits of my argument.

The OLRB Vice Chair had interrupted the ongoing negotiation between the parties, did not disclose all case files to the applicant, did not provide any reason for his deliberate omissions of evidences presented by the applicant, distorted the facts, and decided to close the file without hearing.[1] The tribunal did NOT comply with its legislative mandate; [2] The tribunal’s process was NOT administratively fair; [3] The tribunal’s decision was NOT based on the evidence before it; and [4] The tribunal did NOT give adequate reasons in support of its decision. It is very alarming to see the apparent lack of fair, equitable, and functioning justice system in Ontario.

I have just completely lost faith in due process because we have just been told a couple of guys in a small company must remain in a shifty, dirty, sleazy union the 787 local. Which means now we will have no jobs to feed our families because the company cannot afford a union. As well they keep our money for 6 months and collect interest on it while we starve. Their union reps will contact past disgruntled employees and ask them to testify against the company in order to solve a personal vendetta and yes I have those emails Ian. I will never pay into a union nor do I believe in them they do not protect they ensnare.

I would give no stars if that were possible. The OLRB is a disgrace. My experience dates back about 10 years, but I remember it well. It stank to high heaven from the start to the end. I filed a DFR against my union, which chose not to go to arbitration after my school board terminated my employment. (The school board was corrupt and abusive, but that's another story.) My first warning came when a lawyer I consulted with said that 98% of DFRs are rejected by the OLRB. I went forward anyway, but on my own since my lawyer did not want me to hire him and waste my money. Then the process began with the OLRB officers trying hard to persuade me (I could say harassed me) into dropping my complaint. I didn't. Then came the decision by the Vice-Chair, which dismissed my complaint. The decision was just a joke and it was clear the outcome had been settled long before the content of my case was even heard. They misrepresented the facts and had no concept of respect for precedents. The OLRB makes a complete mockery of fairness and the rule of law.

This so-called Ontario Labour Relations Board concluded and released a settlement case even without the applicant's (employee) consent. Just as the employee thought this has been settled unwillingly (which has legally prevented the employee from suing the employer), the employer came back and started a legal action against the employee for Defamation and breach of fiduciary duties and etc. If this even makes sense to you, I honestly don't think you are a normal human being. There's a total negligence on this Board's side, and they might have secretly worked with your employer's lawyers to rip you off.

The case mediators are quintessentially “sales people”. From the beginning of our discussions the mediator projected false dispositions suggesting to “put aside frustrations and emotions” where no such “frustrations or emotions” exist. The mediators also use fear and doubt as a means to direct as many cases as possible into settlement. The entire experience feels like buying a car from a used car salesman. The mediators enter into negotiations with an unapologetic and clear set bias and without full examination of the facts. Ultimately the parties involved make decisions not to dispense with the claim, but to dispense with the unprofessional mediators. My advice is to hire counsel or an agent and ride their processes.

Extremely biased and clear conflicts of interest. Geneviève Debané knowingly withheld crucial evidence, and even after a request for reconsideration neglected these facts. Do not waste your time with the OLRB, hire a lawyer instead. They play golf with your employers.
