Kenzo Ramen Hamilton
If you want authentic Ramen, this is the place to go! Get there early because the place doesn't offer a lot of seatings and can fill up quickly. The noodles were just done to perfection. Caution: if you like heat but not not too spicy, I recommend dialing down on the heat level. I opted for level 2, but boy, there was enough heat in that bowl of Ramen that I could handle and I couldn't taste the rest of the ingredients. My son swapped his bowl with me and it was all good. The cooks preparing our meals could be seen from where we were seated. I like this idea because you can see what they are doing; or not doing. The service was fast and the staff friendly. Go to Kenzo! It will not disappoint!

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Kenzo. The stretch of King Street that the restaurant on has become a little sketchy, but Kenzo certainly isn't. I ordered the Gyudon, and compared to your typical Yoshinoya or Sukiya in Japan, the Kenzo version is almost like Gyudon Deluxe! It had a number of toppings and an almost Teriyaki like sauce. I think there was some egg in there as well. Very tasty! My wife ordered the Oyakodonburi, and she also enjoyed her meal. The decor in the restaurant is quite nice and it seems to be well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. Recommended!Update: returned a week later and had the Tonkatsu. Delicious! My wife had the Katsukare and enjoyed it as well. I'm sure we'll be visiting Kenzo pretty regularly going forward.

Lots of food, portions are very large. If your server warns you about how much food you are ordering please listen. However the food is so tasty and fresh that it is hard to put your chopsticks down. The broths are so rich, the noodles are wonderfully fresh and the meat is tasty and tender. It is definitely worth the mid-range price and I highly recommend based on food alone. But it is also very clean and welcoming with fast friendly service so there really were no downsides that I saw

Standard ramen spot. I got the Black Tonkotsu Ramen and really enjoyed it. The second spice level for it, was quite spicy from the dried chilli flakes. The gyoza were good, but the chicken karaage is not the best. The dough wasn't light like other karaage.

Average ramen. Like the spicy miso chashu ramen, but for the other regular miso ramen was too salty. And when I asked for add one egg they only give half of the egg. Not a pleasant experience

Great ramen spot. Menu has some other options as well, including chicken karagae and rice, which was the most kid friendly option.Service was fast and everything was tasty. Nice spot to stop for food before an event at the First Ontario center as it's not heavy fare.

Took the family here. Super friendly, fast service and Amazing food. Every broth is unique with a deep and distinct flavor profile. There was no left overs at the end of our meal. We are leaving here very satisfied. The price vs portion offers great value. Our entire family of 5 can eat here with appetizers for under 100$. Not only were we all fully satisfied but my wallet is also happy. The kids said it was bussin and the Ramen slapped. This place is on my hit list anytime I'm in the Hamilton area. A must try if you are craving Ramen. 5 star +. Parking is the only downfall you will need to park and walk a couple blocks in. But let me assure you it is definitely worth it.

Amazing service here! Noodles are great. My favorite ramen place in Hamilton. So much flavor even for vegetarian dishes. 10/10 would come again

Great staff. We were probably the last to dine there on Family day , and the place was jam packed. The head server was super cordial, got us waiting seats , took our orders before we could find some space.

Kenzo Ramen Hamilton
Walked by this place a bunch of times before having the time to go with friends. The selection was pretty great, and we decided to order a bunch to share. Everything was fantastic and decently priced. Tonkatsu Ramen was great and would order again, but I feel I'll need to order a different thing every time because there is a good selection! A perfect meal for a rainy chill day. I will be back again soon.
