The Clam Bucket
Fantastic restaurant, beautifully designed and decorated inside and out. The food was delicious and the seafood was top notch! Best restaurant in Port Alberni for sure.The service staff was really friendly and helpful, the food was well prepared and serviced to us pretty quickly. Overall a very positive experience.

Definitely recommend it to anyone who stop by this town! We ordered the platter for one and it was a decent portion! The seafood was so fresh! Loved the butter clams! Fried mash potatoes are must tries!

We enjoyed our lunch date at the Clam Bucket very recently. Their covered patio is the go to in this summer heat, however their interior also looked great and cosy for a cold day.We had the Oyster Rockefeller to start and then went for the half and half clam and mussels bucket. Both dishes were delicious.For drinks we got the Daquiri and the Chichi. Some of the best ones we've had around, you could really taste and appreciate the organic fruit - as opposed to others that tend to be more flavoured slush.Great service too, the staff were super friendly.

My husband and I came in for lunch, we were greeted quickly and seated promptly despite there being lots of other guests. Our waitress was very friendly, quick and attentive. The clam chowder was sooo delicious, very creamy and flavourful. Fish was delicious, the portions were HUGE and the prices were very reasonable considering the amount of food that you receive.

I have dinner there after having an hiking afternoon and it was just what I needed to end a great day. The food presentation was really good and also the portions. The flavor of everything was so good. Definitely you must to go if you are looking for a good meal around.

We come here every year since we accidentally eat innthis restaurant in 2014. This year the Sampler Platter for Tow was even better. They have other seafood and fish dishes but I .not ready to no eat this amazing and delicious dish. Staff is very kind and professional, I felt very well attended. Popular place advise reservations.

Having tried ‘fish & chips’ with ‘clam chowder’ in dozens of places from B.C. To California….the Clam Bucket beats them all hands down for both!!!Chowder is loaded with an excellent creamy base. The fish has a crispy, not too thick or greasy batter, fries are good.The ‘calamari’ was fantastic too.Absolutely delicious food, big portions, good prices with very friendly staff.The best in the west! :)

The Clam Bucket
A gem in Port Alberni. Not so fancy on its facade, but the inside is quite cozy. I was amazed with the smiling staff and kind of service we got. The food was delicious, and with my wife, we loved more the house special clam chowder. Definitely will come back when in Port Alberni. Parking though is limited, but there are lots of parking space in nearby park. Washroom was clean, too.
