The day I discovered the ladies at Kapenzo Hair is the day that my life changed or should I say my life began again with much more ease and confidence. Since I was used to having a full hair that everyone complimented and that I didn't have to think so much about when it comes to styling. It was so stressful and depressing when it fall out due to my illness, eating disorder. Which gladly to say I am free of it now. When my hair fall outI started doing the uro locks which is so costly and damaged my hair even more.I started researching believing & praying for another solution. And my prayers were answered when I specifically spoke to Abi at Kapenzo Hair. From the minute I walked into the lovely boutique when they were in downtown Toronto for the free consultation, I knew my prayers were answered. It has been almost 12 years now. They have made and is making my life so easy and helped to my recovery from my eating disorder as well.I specifically ask for and work with Abi because she knows exactly what type of wig to get me and how to cut my bangs. No one thinks it's a wig. Funny enough including me. It feels like my own hair. On top of that Going to the boutique is such a therapeutic experience. I enjoy every min of it. I am forever grateful.

The care and personalized service I received from Abi was exceptional! She made me feel like a valued customer, which unfortunately as most of us know, is difficult to find in this day and age. When I received my Kapenzo wig, I was beyond satisfied! In fact, I ordered another one because of its high quality and comfort. I have shopped around and tried on several units but this is by far the most natural looking and comfortable wearing wig I have ever owned. No need to look any further for a wig retailer. This is a hidden gem in the world of wig shops.I have Alopecia Areata and have been wearing wigs for some time.It’s embarrassing to be completely vulnerable with a complete stranger not knowing what their reaction could possibly be.I was pleasantly surprised that the lady here was very kind and knowledgeable about my condition.The entire experience was great. It was nice to be given options and be treated well. I love my wig; although was quite costly it was certainly worth the investment.

Great place and excellent service. The ladies there are very knowledgeable and patient. The one speaking with my mother and I provided us with more information than the other wig shops we visited in Toronto. My mother especially has never worn wigs and losing her hair due to cancer was tremendously difficult for her and us all as a family. She was pleased with the variety of wigs, the ability to try them. However we were very grateful for the time spent on educating us on the different caps and hair types and the pros and cons to them all. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who can only speak Italian. She is very happy with her wig and experience and felt the need to convey it through a review. Thank you.
