Baywalk Boardwalk
A very nice easy 6.6km (4 miles) walk along the bay in Summerside starting from the harbor. Well maintained and clean with separate paths for walkers and bicyclists. There are picnic tables and lookouts along the path. Look for bird houses affixed to the trees along the path.We saw one bathroom (toilet enclosure) halfway along the path that it was more or less a Porta Potty! But unfortunately as soon as you open the door the odor and the hundreds of flies coming towards the light knocks you back 10 feet. They need to pay more attention to cleanliness of the bathroom.

Baywalk Boardwalk
Took a special trip to Summerside for the boardwalk, and it was nice, but nothing terribly exciting. The boardwalk was lovely, and it's right along the water... it even has a small lighthouse along the way. We walked it when it was sunny and 24 degrees, so weather was not an issue. There was lots of seating areas, pavilions, benches, and garbage cans along the way. Overall it was nice, but not something I'd make a specific trip for. If you happen to be in the area and want a nice walk along the beach, I highly recommend.
