Parking Indigo Edmonton - Lot 505 (Edmonton City Centre East Parkade)

I am only writing this review to perhaps spark action by West Park Corporate office to actually address several issues that I have raised at this location. Your local management at this location has served me an ultimatum to pay a ticket for a service I pay monthly for or my parking will be terminated. Why would I pay twice for a parking stall that I pay monthly for?

Parked car and payment done for an hour at 10.04 AM. Came back at 11.00 to find the parking ticket that was issued at 10.06 saying failure to pay. Phoned the number given at the back of the ticket and they could not find the transaction in their system. later the lady on phone said that phone the Edmonton number as this is Vancouver number and we cannot see anything in our system from here. She gave the edmonton number to call that was no where given on the parking ticket. I phoned the Edmonton number and the lady who picked the phone right away said just send us an e mail and pictures of the receipt." I asked if the e mail given on the ticket and she said " no

Lot 505 is in a high crime area, our company car has been broken into 3 times even though it's in the underground part of the parkade which has card access and you require a key to get into from the elevator. I also had to leave my 4Runner in the secure underground parking area only to be notified that it was broken into and they found a homeless person sleeping in my vehicle. When I was contacted by their central services I was informed that none of their cameras work and apparently they haven't worked for a long time. Indigo does not take security seriously and they were of no help. They weren't even able to charge the individual because no one saw the break-in and their cameras don't work. Even though I had no valuables in the vehicle I'm still out $500 for a new rear window. If I could give a lower rating I would. DON'T PARK THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE AND YOUR SAFETY!

Since there is nothing lower. Parked in lot 1796 downtown Edmonton lot 507 and nothing seems to work. The email will not go through and the phone is disconnected. I would like to see them place a ticket on my car since I am documenting everything. Just on the phone with them (after searching and calling different places) and told that they will send some one to fix the machine but that I should have hiked through the building to find another machine. To add extra insult, I said I would park till noon and they said they would give me a discount but it is the same as the day rate. Do not use this service since it seems to be run by people that have no clue how a company should work.

If you love using stairs which are regularly used as washrooms, and neglected by management this is the parking spot for you. Given the lack of basic hygiene practiced by this company, you may catch all kinds of diseases.
