Had been reliable in the past. But I think it's time to go elsewhere

Called today to enquire about the availability of a product. Received very good service & suggestions.

Gary is a nice guy I’ll give him that, but I question his experience with gas fireplaces. I called him out to diagnose my fireplace because it was experiencing delayed ignition to the point the glass door was blown off. He came out and used the owners manual to place the fire logs in the correct locations, but had no idea what was causing the delayed ignition. After it happened a few more times I discovered lowering the flame would prevent it. We started having more issues with the fireplace and Gary could not diagnose that either. He suggested it could be the circuit board and he would source one. After almost a week I was left without heat so I called to follow up. At that point he told me he couldn’t get any parts for it and offered to sell me a new fireplace. I called two local companies and found one that can get parts for it. They came out next day and diagnosed and corrected the delayed ignition problem and are ordering parts for the other. This fireplace was sold and installed by energy mizers prior to Gary purchasing the business.

No customer service. If they stop selling a product they will not help you with anything.

I ordered my gas fireplace in September,2020 and it was finally installed in Dec,2020.I am pleased with the installation.The guys,Gary,Dan and Jacques are very personable and professional.I have to say,they are very busy but they did a great job.Thank you.
