Turca Breakfast House
Wow. I had Turkish Breakfast when I visited Turkey in 2019 and I’m so glad we can have this experience in Calgary!There was 4 of us and we sat on the patio. We ordered the VIP breakfast, with spinach and cheese borek and extra smid on the side. Both types of eggs had unique flavour, the honey and ishta was the best I’ve ever had, the Smid was delicious, tea was perfect and there was a large pot of it. We paid $76 for the whole thing. Unfortunately we had a family emergency and had to cut our visit short, so we didn’t try the coffee or dessert.Please don’t change anything about the experience, it’s perfect!I will be back and I’m bringing everyone I know.

Food is soooo good and fresh. Most of the food is made in house. My favourite is the menemen, borek, lamb shank and the divine honey cake!Will definitely go back to try all the items on the menu.

I visited Turca on Sunday afternoon for brunch. I do not remember what used to be in this place but they painted beautiful mural on the exterior wall, interior was simple and clean, they had restaurant area + deli & little shops inside.I loved their Turkish breakfast plate! It came with plenty of veggies and jam/honey for bread. It was like build your sandwich plate and I enjoyed a lot! Turkish bagel was my favorite, it had great texture and flavors. The breakfast came with Turkish tea, which was definitely a nice touch. We also tried their lamb shank plate and brek. Lamb shank was delicious and it came with rice and salad. Brek was flaky and rich, it was delicious!The service was something I think they need to improve. There was not enough people working, when I got there there were 3-4 tables needed to be cleaned, we waited for 15min to be seated even though they were not full. They did not have water service or water station, they did not have glassware for water either. Also, my Turkish shakshuka did not come, they did not notice until I asked them even though it was part of the breakfast set. I ordered beef brek but I received cheese brek. No one came to check on us after meals were served. I understand that they are still newly opened restaurant, I hope they will improve their service in the future.I loved their selections of menu and I cannot wait to go back and try other items, I recommend this place!

Delicious food and even better service!! So happy we tried this spot on our recent trip from Edmonton. Everything tasted so fresh and like it was made with love. Will definitely come back and recommend the VIP breakfast, Turkish coffee, and honey cake! Also the Turkish baklava was soooo yummy!!

Went and ordered the VIP on Mother’s Day, wait time was only 4-5 minutes and food was very delicious. I would definitely eat here again everything tasted so fresh and the tea was amazing. The owner came and gave us a free desert too on top of them giving out flowers for Mother’s Day. Would definitely come again. 10/10

After my trip to Turkey, I always missed Turkish food. I tried Turkish food in many countries, but it was not good. However, the restaurant here sold high-quality Turkish food, and the staff's service made me very happy. I am 100% reallllly sure in the taste of the food, but it tastes the same as I ate in Turkey!!

My wife and I recently went to Turca, this Turkish restaurant, for brunch and it was amazing! They've got an all-day breakfast which is just perfect. The food was super tasty, and I especially loved their breakfast platter. You've gotta try it!The place is clean, and the staff is super friendly. I really liked that a lot of their stuff is homemade – it gives it that extra special touch.

Had father's day brunch here,ordered 2 sets of vip breakfast platter. The amount of food offered was enough for 3 and we were very stuffed. I especially loved the bagels!!! Wanted to try their honey cake but they didn't have it that day. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

We finally tried their VIP Turkish breakfast platter which includes variety of cheeses, greens, no-yeast bread, Menemen, egg and beef, apricot and nuts, borek, fruits, olives, and tea. It’s 3 of us who consumed it and it’s just enough for us. We also tried their Kunafe, which has a good amount of gooey cheese and honey. Servers and cook are fast, precise and cheerful to customers. It gets busy as early as 10:30am on a Sunday. Lots of tables indoor and patio. Definitely coming back!

Great tasting food with friendly service! We got the Turca light breakfast, spinach Borek, Simit, Turkish Tea, and Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious and all the food was fresh and made without preservatives! A great place for a sit down meal or a quick bite with lots of seating. They also have a small ice cream selection and other Turkish desserts for those with a sweet tooth.
