I love this cafe so much. The staff here are amazing. The FOH manager is one of the nicest people I have met in Ottawa. The Classic breakfast is a great option. Very welcoming space.

I really wish I could leave a better review.We came for brunch with a reservation and waited for the host. A few groups came after us with a reservation at the same time and same people (2) and were seated before us. The host ignored us while she took away the other groups.When we were seated, we waited at least 10 minutes before we even got water and another 20 minutes before our waiter took our orders. If it was busy, I would understand but it was not. The waiter was standing and laughing with the other employees. It took another half an hour for our food. We were never checked upon once when we got our food.My friend got the French toast which was supposed to have vanilla ice cream (as per the menu) but instead was given chocolate ice cream (odd choice for French toast). The sourdough I got was stale.We tried to get somebody to bring us the bill for over 40 minutes to no avail. Disappointed considering this is a higher end place.

I really love this place and the building. Regrettably every time I visit I'm always a little disappointed. Sometimes it's the price, sometimes it's the wait staff who dont know the menu, sometimes its arriving at 3pm and not having any food options. Wish I could give this a higher rating because it's a really great space and the operating team are fantastic. I would have gone a little crazy during the lockdown without this place. It's a wonderful community fixture.

Working Title Kitchen + Cafe
I just recently tried Working Title with a group of friends and overall had a great experience.The service was great, our waiter was both friendly and attentive. The food was largely good, although there were some complaints around the table about overcooked meat. Other than that, they've got options for vegetarians and vegans and their apps are quite tasty. Most noteworthy was their bread and dips appetizer. The bread is baked in-house, the slices are huge (and delicious), and the spreads were equally tasty!

Fresh quiche, salad and potato wedges, presented beautifully. I’m not a big fan of wedges but…Great spot for lunch, unfortunately due to air quality we could not eat outside but our hostess Amelia went beyond our expectations to find us a quiet spot for lunch and chitchat with the girls! Looking forward to going back when we can eat outside.

We loved the atmosphere and ambience at working title. We brought friends here for brunch and it was just the vibe we were looking for. Service was good and all of the food we got was tasty and presented well. The coffee was OK but nothing to write home about. I will be back to see what there patio is like once the weather is warmer.

Working Title Kitchen + Cafe
What they've done with the place is remarkable. The bakery and cafe is big and offers lots of baked goods. The lunch menu is also fantastic! (I had the brioche french toast.) Service was rather slow but I was with a fairly large group so it's understandable. Also there are some stairs you need to descend to enter, so it's not 100% accessible.
