It was my first time going in here with my little man because we were both hungry. The owner seemed to be having a bad day or maybe just threw customer service away on that day. He was rude- made statements like, “ Sometimes Ihate my life, I hate my job and I hate my customers” My son was shocked. I told him we should go , he said “Mum he has already started making your sandwich, it would not seem fair to leave- but I wonder what his problem is”. We were really hungry. . I asked him regardless of his obnoxious attitude if he was having a bad day and he replied that he was. In customer service- can you have a bad day and be at the front serving with utterances like his? I would rather drive to the shawarma place in les galeries de Hull where you have clients service oriented people. I should have recorded his not too professional attitude.

Its reputation precedes it! Best price-shawarma ratio in the capital area, always super savory and stocked with drinks! Worth a try :)

Friendly service. Very clean. Last visit pizza order have less portions of ingredients.But Yaya" makes the best pizza because the ingredients are plenty enough and am very satisfied."

Good Shawarma. Fast and very friendly service. The portions are massive for the price and the food tastes good. Would recommend if you’re really hungry looking for Shawarma in Gatineau.

I've had the pleasure of being a customer since it's infancy when Elgin street was it's only location in Ottawa. There's been some rough times but now that it has a new owner and operational team this restaurant feels like it used to over 30years ago. I was happy knowing that the restaurant was sold by Nadim to the current owner Fathee as he's been working hard to reestablish what was and is known as the world's leading shawarma. Much like Mustafa passed on positive energy and a great place to visit eat and enjoy your experience Fathee and his son are wonderful people who are working 7days a week non-stop too give us that amazing mouth watering experience that you can only get from Marroush.

In my opinion the best chicken shawarma in the region.Garlic sauce is creamy, vedgies are fresh and crunchy. Staff is always SUPER nice.I make the drive from Gatineau and never regret it.

Massive portions, but food at the serving counter is refilled out of old dirty buckets. They also microwave the food directly in a Styrofoam container when you order. The track lighting above the serving counter is caked in dust balls. This place needs a deep clean.
