Loved your great dish rice and goat, amazing, keep bringing Bananas, I absolutely loved my first day spices, maraq ( soup), felt like I am back home how food taste! A respected great staff. Keep going on the work

I didn't know what to expect when I went there for the first time today. The food is amazing. The spices hit the right spots. The meat is cooked perfectly. We ordered Haneed Lamb Shank and Goat meat and a beef meal for the kids. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful experience! Amazing food!! Best east African cuisine in EdmontonMy family and I dined here this Sunday, and the staff treated my family with so much kindness and respect, even with my toddler acting out screaming. I recommend the mandazi and beef/chicken saquaar. Such a family orientated atmosphere. Thank you, Royal, for your hospitality and great food , we will definitely be returning xoxox

My family and I had the goat and rice plate and it was really good! We’ve had Somali food from other restaurants before, this place specifically had very well seasoned Rice AND meat! Also the family that works and owns the place were the sweetest Masha’allah. Definitely coming back soon :)

Great food, even better staff. One of the best East African restaurants in the city. They always cook fresh and serve in large portions. Will definitely recommend 9/10.

Went here for the first time yesterday with my family and I must say the food was delicious. Lots of space, servers were checking on us often to make sure we were doing good, presentation was good, lots of food options as well. Def recommend!

Was looking for a nearby restaurant still open after workshift and found this absolute gem! Decent parking, cozy atmosphere with an impressive mural inside and the best lamb and rice dish I have had in a long time. Good price, lots of food and excellent customer service!Mango smoothie is very on point in the summer heat. :)

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!The staff were amazing! Very nice niche hidden ‘hole-in-the-wall’ type experience with amazing food and exceptionally friendly staff. We ordered some food to go and were offered to take a seat while we wait and given free tasters of soup and bread, which were amazing. Seriously, try this place! They’re Samosas are to die for!

All time breakfast and fresh food is hard to fine in Edmonton’s restaurants. This is my first time dining in Royal and it is amazing experience.
