We decided to stop by on a Sunday evening for dinner as we have not had a chance to try The Townhouse out. It was quite busy, and we did not know it's better to make a reservation. Fortunately there was room outside for a group of 4. The atmosphere is nice, and our waitress was very sweet, attentive and helpful with the drinks andfood menu. I usually take pictures, but only did of our dessert (which was amazing) the food looked too good and everyone dug in right away. Everyone was pleased and my in laws are still talking about the food the next day. I have some friends and family visiting soon and will be bringing them here. It was disappointing they did not have oysters, but hopefully they will next time. This is some of the best food I've had in a long while.

It was our anniversary and they ALL congratulated us upon entry and when we left. That experience stays with you and truly... No place pays as much attention to detail in the greater north shore to detail and quality service as the townhouse. The food is top top top tier as well as far as quality of ingredients and they know how to cook their fish and greens so nothing is mushy or dry/over cooked.

Lovely little restaurant with great food. Definitely a great place to get some dinner and a drink. They have some good local brews available to purchase and a wide range of other drink options. The menu is a tad bit limited which is the main reason I only gave them a 4 star, but what is on the menu always hits the spot. The daily specials are excellent and helps keep the menu a little bit more interesting. The service here has always been excellent, the servers will answer dietary questions, make recommendations, and know how to keep an eye on their tables. We have gone a couple of times and we are looking forward to going again.

Best restaurant of our NS trip! Very strong but good drinks. Delicious main course with really fresh oyster.

Definite hidden gem (for an out of towner). The vibe is local pub but the food rivals anything from a major city. Flavors were all out of the park. Wish this restaurant was back in Toronto so I could come back once a month. Kudos to the chef.

We visited here every summer; it was a reliable spot for good food, good service, etc. While the service is still exceptional, the food has drastically changed. I decided to play it safe with the burger to see if the prices could be worth it. To my surprise, I found out that the $18 price tag on the burger neglected any side! $18 for a burger alone in a town where (I imagine) much of their clientele are university students is, in my opinion, robbery. Their reasoning is due to the methods used to cook the burger and had nothing to do with the actual finished product. The patty was horribly under-seasoned, and despite being sous vide, it was incredibly dry. The Aioli added nearly no flavour, and the bun was dry (not to mention massive). To my knowledge, the salads the others in my group ordered were okay but still left much to be desired. The entire experience (bar the quick and polite service) paled in comparison to what we had experienced on prior visits.

What a fantastic place to dine at in Antigonish! My friend brought me here - my first time - and I was wowed by the entire experience. Tiffany was an amazing server with great input, suggestions and warm hospitality. We started with the beet appetizer to share - the best beets I have ever had! They were perfectly tender with a sweetness accompanied by hazelnuts. Next we had the salt cod cakes and cauliflower apps and the chicken lettuce wraps main. The beauty of this meal was only outweighed by the amazing flavours. We were so sad when we finished because it meant the meal was over - it was THAT delicious. A memorable meal that we can't wait to repeat.

Been here over the years a few times when I’m in town- this last one was my favourite yet. Great food, large drink list (local craft!), and lovely staff!

Oysters on the half shell, sweet and delicious. Mussels to die for. Corinne had the Gnochi, awesome. I had seafood risotto, excellent. Highly recommend this place.
