Referral was over 1.5 yrs ago...still waiting for a call to set up an appointment!

Dr gupta has the worst receptionists.. they cancel and reschedule appointments without informing patients. It's happened to me twice.. once I lost an entire day of pay because I booked off and the cancelled it.. no call.. they always lie and say they left a message. Today I got there at 9 to find out it was rescheduled for 3pm.. so I have to drive from current river twice today because they cant di their jobs.. no thanks.. I won't ever go back there.. along with others I'm sure.. I hear other patients complain about the same thing while im there.. dr gupta is amazing and if he fired his receptionists who dont know how to make a phone call and hire qualified people his business wouldn't suck so bad..

Reception is very unreliable! How is it that they can't answer the phone or return a call ALL MORNING? I have called more than a handful of times in the last 3 hours and even left a voicemail with still no call back. Very irritating! Hire new or more reception!

Dr. Gupta is a shining diamond in TBay! I have never met a more kind and caring doctor that takes visible steps to go above and beyond to ensure I am well taken care of both in terms of my eyes (and I know through other doctors that he is considered the best in his field) as well as on a more personal basis with regards to my diabetes management and overall well-being.All of this is in spite of a brutally hectic and busy schedule with clients and research intended to better the lives of his patients.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Gupta. The operations went smoothly and with excellent result. The office staff are always busy and it is understandable if they can't respond quickly to phone calls, however that seems to be a problem with most doctor's offices these days. I found the office staff and doctor to be polite, pleasant and helpful.

Dr.Gupta thank you very much for taking the time to ask about the red mark near my left eye and examining it then asking if I want you to prescribe antibiotics and an topical antibiotic and telling me to start the medication asap to prevent the , what could have been a bad infection going into my eye.You are an excellent, kind, caring Dr.& Specialist. Thunder Bay is very fortunate to have a Specialist like you.I hope your dream of remote cataract care come true.You are truly and amazingly person in your profession and caring beyond what is the norm.At one appointment,You asked me if I mined waiting a bit longer as a person came in an needed to have the pressure in his eye relieved or he would risk losing his eye.I had no problem waiting as you cared for another person ,as down the road, I could have the same problem.Not many Dr.’s Would care , or ask a patient if they minded waiting a bit longer .Thanks for taking the time to care,You are amazingDarlene Watts

Its a horrible place with a disgraceful disrespectful dr who seems more interested in billing for tests then helping peopleWow...Turns out that this site deletes negative reviews.Unbelievable.This guy is a disgrace
