The Beer Store

It's a beer store, so its good for that. Not sure if she works there still, but a woman there with long brown hair is pretty stern and kinda rude. Brown your nose with her, or she won't serve you.

Been here for the first time. Otherwise we always go to LCBO. We always try different brands in beer. Picked up Asahi beers. The guy at the cash counter was helpful and informed us to get the bottles back to get 10 cents off on each one. Apparently my folks loved this beer as well.

Needs to extend opening hours to be longer all days.

Some of the employees had attitude. This brings the rating down!That was my old review a couple of years ago. The last few visits and a huge difference. One of the employees named Jeff helped with my returns and took the time to recommend a similar beer to what I was order when I asked for help. A great choice and I really appreciate it. Thanks Jeff, keep up the good work!!

Saying that me and my wife had a very bad experience in this location is actually quite polite because the reality is that I actually thought things with this fellow were going to escalate to a physical fight. Me and my wife went to this store on 01/16/21 to return bottles/cans for recycling. To my surprise, one of the workers decided to take it upon me and my wife claiming that we were not respecting the “Lockdown Rules”. He mistreated us verbally and kept coming forward to the point I thought the matter would turn physical. The irony of the situation is not only the fact that there were no such set rules anywhere but also The Beer Store shouldn’t even be opened because it does not fulfill the concept of a Essential Business. Everybody working on that place should actually feel lucky to even still have a job.

Why is the woman who works here so rude. You know the one, I won’t mention her name. She is not very knowledgeable about anything in the store and she really doesn’t know how to talk to people, she seems to only talk down to people. If you can avoid this store, go to the one in the sobeys plaza. You’ll save yourself from ever having to deal with this grumpy person.

Cannot thank you enough. As I returned my empties, my cell phone dropped into the returning bin unnoticed. Later when I traced my lost phone on Apple find my phone and went back, they were able to find it, even though being heavier than cans was now buried and at the very bottom of a huge skip/dumpster of cans. They had to empty the skip/dumpster *can* by *can* into another skip/dumpster to find it. So thankful, you saved me, THANK YOU ALL. That was over and above.
