Active Relief Centre

Dr. Aras is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. He helped me work through a very painful and tough neck injury. The herniation caused so much pain that I was unable to lie down for almost 2 months. He was the only one that could actively help me when many doctors and other practitioners could or would not. I drove 3 hours total to see him in Hamilton - now he has an office in Guelph as well which cut my drive time in half. His goal is to get you healed and gone with exercises you can do at home that keep things protected and stabilized. I have a lot of respect for this man. He cares and helps people stay independent (not constantly coming back) and pain free long term. I am so grateful for what he`s done for me! I only wish I had found him sooner. You`re missing out big time if you`re suffering from a neck or back injury and don`t give Dr. Aras a chance to help you!

I had my first appointment today and never usually write reviews but really felt the need to based on how amazing my experience was. I was seen by Dr. Aras for my hip and after just 1 visit I notice a huge difference. The staff was so friendly and helpful, no wonder I got so many referrals to come here! I would defiantly recommend.

I am so thankful that I heard about this Centre! I ended up in a wheelchair after I had sudden back issues arise, as well as severe sciatica. The walk in clinic doctors could only guess what it was and prescribe meds, but then I got an appointment here with Ashley, who was my angel in a time of need. She easily diagnosed and treated the issue and gave me a very simple exercise to do, along with tips and health teaching. They aim to have people 70% better within 3 weeks, and that certainly was the case for me! Highly recommend any of the staff members here!

I have been treated by three practitioners here at different times and they are all very very good at what they do. They get to the root cause and instill confidence with their skill. I highly recommend this team!

Incredibly competent !!! and friendly! Unlike anywhere else these professionals diagnose root causes rather than symptoms. Amazing success with my pain of neck and feet and my husband’s hip.

Dr. Adam is the best! I went about 2 years ago for a few sessions for my sciatica, and I haven’t had chronic pain since. A miracle worker!!

I have been going to the Active Relief Centre for a few years now, with breaks in between when all is going well with my body. The staff are so friendly and helpful and I find it easy to book an appointment. I cannot say enough good about Adam, the manual therapist who directly treats me. He is always attentive when listening to my answers to his questions. He is patient to find out what is going on. And he is excellent at what he does in terms of treatment. I have gone to him for constant upper back pain (now healed), a knee issue (he gave me an exercise to do before I run stairs that has helped tremendously), an injured toe (98% better), and two different neck pain injuries/issues. Every time he is so knowledgeable, personable, and gentle. It is a rare experience to go see a stranger for treatment and leave feeling so cared for. I highly recommend.

My aunt has been seeing Adam Dziemianko for several years. She is elderly and doesn't use a computer so I wanted to write a review on her behalf. Despite her advanced age, she still enjoys relatively good health. For years, she has struggled with pain issues and tried many things looking for relief. Her physicians have prescribed everything they can think of, and in my opinion, become exasperated at their inability to treat her pain. Obviously, medications weren't the full answer. She has found the treatment she receives from Adam to be the most helpful. She tells everyone how much this helps her. She describes him enthusiastically as very personable and caring" and we are grateful that her quality of life is improved."

I am lucky enough to have been treated by 2 of the outstanding practitioners @ Active Relief Centre. I was initially referred to the clinic by my Dentist for jaw tightness that I had been dealing with for a LONG time.I initially met with Adam, DC who was able to resolve the issue in short order and without any of the dreaded “manipulation” that I had anticipated (I had never been to a Chiropractor before and was skeptical). The treatments were passive and pain-free. Adam provided me with very effective home-based exercises and I have not required any intervention since then.Unfortunately, a few months later I experienced a back injury. I knew from my previous experience with Adam that Active Relief Centre could help me and their amazing Admin staff was able to get me in quickly.Amanda, PT was knowledgeable, thorough, calming and patiently answered ALL of my questions. I had noticeable improvement in my mobility immediately after my 1st treatment. Amanda also provided me with instructions on how to manage the symptoms at home along with preventive stretches/exercises. I had started running a short time before this back injury and was convinced that I would not be able to complete my goal of finishing the Around The Bay Road Race. I am very proud to say that I was able to complete it, but not without the help of Amanda & Active Relief Centre. I continue to see Amanda but only on an as-needed basis to deal with any aches or pains that arise as I continue my running journey. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Active Relief Centre – I only wish I had started attending sooner !
