So much work out there! And This hall cant get any of it??? Time for new leadership i would say

The IBEW 424 has served me very well over the 18 years I have been a member. It is so good to get a fair wage, pension and benefits. The staff that work in the office are very business like, but friendly and helpful. They do a good job for the thousands of members that they represent. It has also a very good place to work and grow your skills. The other electricians (union members) are very good at sharing techniques and trade secrets. It was my experience, on the majority of jobs I participated in, there was a sense of camaraderie and professionalism. Another feature for me is that the jobs are still bid by number and everyone gets a fair opportunity to work. I would recommend the IBEW 424 as an excellent place as an apprentice to build your skills, or journey-person to enjoy the benefits of a great career.

The most useless union I have ever seen. They never stood by my side when I needed them. I hope there was a way to get my money back, I was ripped off.

Ibew 424 has great training and educational courses, awesome benefits and unreal staff that go out of their way to help you the best they can. This place has pushed me to success.

No good to work so long name hire taking job from others

Unions all folding during Covid was the nail in the coffin for 424 and many other unions , no such thing anymore and can’t trust them with your pension … I’ll take my 10 percent from private sector and get paid based on my skills much higher then union pay rates that haven’t moved in years

My dad started 1962 (254) I started 1980 (254/424) was always proud to belong to the union. WELL brotherhood..now in ashamed (name hire, local hire, rehire any special hire I missed?) so much for BROTHERHOOD/SISTERHOOD NO none. This is not a union any more! All it is is me me me corruption from the top down now. This is why you can’t get work. If I ever hear, (but I need to pay my bills name hire me) (but I live in Fort…, I’m first) ME ME ME.. Only the opinion of a real member.

Said they will contact me again since the classes are full. Never got contacted again...I dont mind being denied, but lying to me and keeping my hopes up for nothing...

This organisation has given me more training as an electrician than I would ever find anywhere else. My family and I are sincerely thankful for what they have done for us.

Terrible service, very bad place to work at as an electrician. You can do better working elsewhere. No star.
