Regarding a recent full service on a Tissot Heritage Petite Seconde:I bought this watch from a popular “gray” market dealer in the US at an irresistible price knowing it may come with a headache. Watch arrived in perfect condition. On first windup (it’s an ETA 6498-1) I was in love. This was a keeper.A day later the watch was 2 hours fast. Two more the next. Irresistible prices carry their own cost. Off to see Walter at Europa, as he was the most recommended watchmaker in town.He was friendly. Supremely knowledgeable, and BUSY, all good signs. So I left it with him for a full service (significantly less through Walter - an authorized dealer - than back to Switzerland!).A few months later the watch is back to me, beautiful as ever, and regulated to within COSC specs (bang on 4.5 seconds fast a day over 8 days with consistent wind ups). Unreal. Walter has a customer for life.

Unfortunately after many failed promises and a watch that hasn't been touched since the beginning of December, I am forced to leave this review. They seem like great people however I've been told they are still working on watches from the summer. I think it would be best for them to not accept any further watch drop offs until they can complete their previous commitments. Not sure how there aren't more reviews like mine, most likely because I've been so understanding to this point. I'll be picking up my watch and will have to go elsewhere. Will update this review if I can get some resolution.

Absolutely delighted to have found this shop. They have a great selection of quality watches at really good prices, both in store and online. Their used selection is also awesome, with Rolex, Cartier, JLC, etc. They have been so helpful every time I come in. I’ve taken a watch for service as well and even though they were busy, they were able to change the battery and resize the bracelet on the spot!We are lucky to have an outfit like this in Edmonton and I have not hesitated to refer family here as well.

Took my Breitling for repair, and it needed very heavy repair work. I wore the watch in a salt water pool, and didn’t realize the bezel was open. So needless to say, water and salt got into the watch and completely ruined it. I took it to Walter, who is a specialist in high-end European watches (literally went to school for it) and he completely took the watch apart and built it back from the ground up (see attached photos, wow!). The price I paid was unreal compared to what I would have had to pay Breitling to do the exact same work. Watch is in amazing working condition, and he shined it back up for me…can’t thank you enough, Walter! Will definitely be dealing with him exclusively moving forward and recommend him to everyone for any of your watch needs. What a gem!

Our go-to place for all our watch repairs and service. Recently had a 1950s Berthaud and Zenith serviced...both look amazing and are the best running watches in our household. Walter is clearly passionate about his work and it's worth the wait for him to work on what we consider sentimental pieces. Reasonable prices, honesty, and a great job done.

I dropped by to get myself a belated Christmas gift and my experience of the store owner was great. He took the time t let me browse through the watches I was interested, dealt kindly with multiple customers at the same time without haste and rush. After about 45 minutes I walk out, not only with a new watch (Seiko 5 Sports) but clear that I would bring all my watches for service or repairs to this lovely guy's from now on. Thank You!"

Great service, Walter is very nice and knowledgeable. Great customer service/communication aswell as service fees. highly recommend to bring your watch here for service and or repair especially if you have a high end watch such as a Rolex as you will save a lot of money. Very Professional service.

People there are very accommodating especially Anya. I called before going to the store to reserved a Tissot watch for my husband. Got there and got the watch. Super nice watch. Smooth transaction. Very happy customer! I wish they will be known more compare to the other big name stores. Will definitely recommend

Have to say, I'm fond of the store itself and the folks working there, but definitely am disappointed in the service I've received. If I was told the wait time at the beginning of how long my repair would take, I would have gone elsewhere. I was originally told up to 3 months, which I thought was long but had heard some good things about Europa. 7 months later, I'm still waiting on my watch and I know its not a very complicated fix.I do wish they would stop taking new orders and finish the backlog to catch up before acquiring new pieces.
