Went to Dr. Chau 2 years back. It was a wisdom tooth extraction. Took him 5 minutes, no pain after and easy healing. I’m usually a nervous reck but he made me feel calm. He charged me less cause the extraction was easier than planned.Awesome work Dr. Chau.I remembered him today cause someone I know went somewhere else, and yea it was a different experience.

Dr. Chau was amazing. Did 3 complicated extractions on a single go with no pain during the process. I highly recommend him. Thank you Doctor.

Dr. Chau was very thorough with taking all proper precautions to ensure a safe extraction of both of my lower wisdom teeth. One tooth raised concern of possible nerve contact but he didn’t take the risk. He instead referred me to get further imaging done on the tooth in question, which turned out to be safe for extraction. He explained all of the possible complications regarding my surgery and he made sure to answer any questions that I had.Don’t let the lack of reviews scare you. Doctor Chau is a phenomenal oral surgeon and will take good care of you. The surgery was quick and the recovery was smooth. His office staff always there to help post-surgery with any questions as well.

I went for a consultation today. Dr Chau was very clear in explaining the process of the surgery as well as describing what the recovery period would look like. With regards to staff, I noticed that one in particular didn't have a very welcoming attitude. I felt rushed during the documentation process. Other than that, great doctor.

DON’T BOTHER... Staffs are extremely rude and very degrading. They talk about you if you in the open if you say you cannot afford. WORST DEGRADING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

Dr. Edwin Chau did my wisdom tooth removal in 2023. Overall in hindsight it was a decent experience. He’s a competent and capable surgeon, and I believe he can improve his bedside manner.I think the clinic should give clearer/detailed instructions to avoid eating food shortly after and to emphasize the importance of avoiding the very painful “Dry socket” in both their pamphlet and the Dr’s advice. Still, I understand that Dry Socket can’t always be prevented. Staff were decent.What went well:- I was put under anaesthesia for first time, this process was pretty smooth and I fell asleep Quickly after receiving the cool feeling of the IV. Resulting in no pain and no memory during surgery. I was happy with this part.- 2 months looking back (now that it’s healed) I think the tooth removal went well.- Dr. Chau is a competent surgeon and he was available if I wanted to revisit office, and also by phone call which was nice.What could be improved:- I felt Dr. Chau’s bedside manner/compassion can be improved. He can be friendly and responsive. But he can also be a bit stern at times, and when an anxious patient is going through terrible pain this can make it worse. I understand he is in a busy and stressful occupation. Being a bit more compassionate/understanding or gentler with patients when they have dry socket and are coming for a followup would go along way.- Probably my fault cause I ate too soon after procedure or cause I’m older but Ideveloped a dry socket which sometimes patients do. This resulted in severe pain for 2 straight weeks. This was one of the worse pain I ever had, causing me to miss many days of work. I understand it can’t always be prevented but I think clinic should make more of an emphasis to communicate the risk of dry socket to patients and how best to avoid it.

My grandmother was seen by Dr Chau today for extractions of two broken teeth. Dr Chau was excellent and explained everything in detail to my wife who was with my grandmother during the procedure and extracted the teeth within minutes. My grandmother was quite comfortable and her healing has been great with minimal bleeding and no pain. I would highly recommend Dr Chau and his clinic.

Rude staff. They behaved as if they are the one in the city. Never say thank you to me. Another staff is friendly but she typed my name wrong twice. Cant imagine how bad they are. Not recommended.
