So expensive now! For $20 more I could've (shouldve) gone to a registered accountant. For the price difference, I'd feel safer using a CPA

I had such an amazing experience with tax personal named Amanda. The initial phone call was so helpful , she was kind and didn’t hesitate to help. Besides being a tax guru, her attitude was A+! We need more Amandas in this world. I would highly recommend her .Thank you being so kind and helpful .

I dropped off my income taxes. I received a phone call a couple of days later. I went in and signed the paperwork and was done. Easiest ever!

My husband made appointment for 1:00 pm and it is now 2:00and he is still sitting there. This place absolutely is wrong for this kind of behavior. And l will be taking this to head office because l don't Dick around with persons whom cannot keep there own house in order

Worst place to do taxes the rep said I can’t claim rent and refused to put my rent amount on my taxes. Now I have to call the cra and change it myself. Never go here

If I could give 0 stars I would.Donna at H&R Block King George “filed my taxes” and I use that term VERY loosely.I filed in January 2023, it is now July and my taxes are still not assessed. It has been 7 months. This is due to her not responding to any mail, or sending any of the correct information.I have spoken to CRA over 15 times in the last 7 months. Waited hours on hold and spent hours on the phone while trying to take care of my 1 year old son. I paid H&R block several hundred dollars to do this for me.I called Donna in March to let her know the CRA had been sending requests for more information and it had all gone unanswered. I asked if she was receiving the mail and she said “I’ll take care of it, don’t worry.”This happened continuously throughout the months, to the point where I had to change the mailing address from H&R to my address because they weren’t responding to any of it, even after I informed them several times of this issue.Donna was supposed to file my 2021 taxes in January, but didn’t do so until May, which I came to find out from CRA and had to contact Donna to ask why my taxes for that year were not submitted.. after which she submitted it. This postponed the assessment for several months and i’ve been unable to collect CTB until they’re assessed. Losing money each month and reducing my tax return from several thousand to a couple hundred.She continuously sent the wrong paperwork, forms with important information left blank, and the wrong date of birth and SIN number. I had to call 3 more times to ask her to send the right paperwork with the right SIN and date of birth, and still somehow she sent it incorrectly. My return went from thousands of dollars to $500 (which they took as payment) because the correct information was not sent, even though it was provided several times over several months.So it’s been 7 months since I filed, I’ve seen $0.00 from my return or GST/HST etc, but H&R block has now received their $1,100.00 from me. And I’m the one who’s spent 10+ hours on hold/the phone with CRA in the last few months figuring out what H&R Block didn’t do right, then calling H&R block asking for it to be sent, only for it to be sent incorrectly, SEVERAL times.She also called to inform me that she completed my 2022 taxes, which I did not ask her to do, and was not given the chance to provide my paper T4s and rent receipts which I already had ready to submit myself. They’re trying to charge me over $100 for that. Literally never discussed with her to do my 2022 taxes, she did so without my consent or permission.Sharon and Donna at H&R Block have been extremely rude on top of terrible service. After asking them in June for the 3rd time to send the correct SIN and DOB, Sharon tells me that they’re not sending anything more until they get the rest of their money.This is something that was supposed to have been sent properly months prior in January. The reason they didn’t have their money yet is because CRA has been unable to assess and send my return because they’re waiting on information H&R Black had yet to send properly. I’m a single mom who was fired while on maternity leave and have $0 to give them. They have the audacity to threaten not to do their job if I don’t pay them for that job that hasn’t been done.I will be contacting head office, BBB & a lawyer. I want my money back for a service that was not provided.Sharon and Donna at H&R Block King George Road do not do their job. They will blame you and CRA for mistakes they made. I was threatened and treated terribly.I was told I’d get back $14,000.00. I’ve gotten $0.00 and H&R Block has received over $1,100.00 from me.If I had to sum up H&R Block King George in 1 word: Incompetent.You’d be better off filing your taxes yourself with absolutely no knowledge whatsoever. Honestly, you’d be better off getting a monkey to do it.DO NOT DO YOUR TAXES HERE - you will absolutely regret it.

Won't ever go back they ended up costing me over 300 dollars by messing my taxes up! Think twice before going there. Please take me off your email list as I no longer want your service thankyou

Awful customer service. The receptionist is very rude and laughed at me over the phone and was very condescending. I usually go with David from H&R on Dalhousie and I will continue to do so. My partner submitted his taxes through the online website and was assigned Amanda as his tax expert. It has been 2 weeks since he submitted all his documents and we still have yet to hear back from anyone. Have called twice and messaged multiple times and still have not been contacted. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Very kind staff. The location on Google maps was incorrect. It I put in a request to have the location updated. I walked a 40 minute walk only to find out it is not in the location Google pinned it.It's ways best to have an appointment, however, they do welcome walk-ins too. Very polite and understanding people. I do my taxes here every year since moving to Brantford. Trusted and reliable.

I called ahead to know what protocols were in place for drop off, printed and filled out forms ahead of time. Social distancing was in place in the office, the receptionist was very friendly. I received a call less than 2 hours after I dropped off my return that it was completed. By the end of the day I had a cheque in my hand. Very efficient service! Thank you!
