Vancouver Island Barber Company provides a high end barbershop experiences in a unique, beautiful and comfortable environment! The owner Josh has a huge heart and is also a very highly skilled and versatile barber. I love to visit this shop every time I'm in Duncan!

I was in town due to a friend's wedding. Originally from Ontario so I googled places and saw that this place had good reviews and a decent price. I booked online and it was very easy and convenient. I have to say this was the single best experience in a Baber shop I've ever had. My barber Geoff Large was not only professional but he was very kind and so funny. He did exactly what I wanted and was so welcoming.If you're in the area or heck on the island at all and want a great haircut at an excellent price. Go here.

Josh and his apprentice Jeff were so welcoming to my 3 sons who all needed (desperately!) new hairdos. They chatted with them and my boys all thought it was the coolest experience. They each got something unique that suited their personalities. Will definitely return.

Recently moved to Duncan and needed to find a good barber. So glad I found this barber shop! Josh is the mamajammin' man! Both my son and I have received exceptional services from Josh and his talented team! Super friendly and highly skilled. Can't go wrong here at Vancouver Island Barber Co.!

Josh did an amazing job making my 2 young boys comfortable for their hair cuts. He did a fantastic job. The shop and Josh are amazing. We will be returning, you can't go wrong coming to see Josh!

I did not get the cut I wanted. I asked to keep it long. Now it is way too short and I've spent an hour trying to make it look right I'll be going to another barber to either fix it or cut it all off. Very disappointed for a place with such high stars. Spending $40 on something I have to fix is not what I wanted. Where have all the oldschool good barbers gone.?Edit. I've already fixed the haircut myself. I more upset that I asked for it to be left as long af possible and now I've got pretty much a buzz cut. Over 6 months of my life wasted growing it out. Maybe more focus on the words I said about what I wanted and less focus on admiring my curls.

This was the second time Josh has cut my toddlers hair. He's such a wonderful person, always cheery and kind. Josh made sure my son was comfortable and was played around with him the entire time. This man also has the patience of a saint.
