Eagle Bear Lodge

On our way back home and couldn’t find accommodation ended up ringing eagle bear lodge and they were so accommodating we had a big group of people including kids! They cooked us a beautiful dinner and breakfast the next day! and the atmosphere was amazing! The owners are beautiful down to earth people!The lake was lovely so beautiful to swim in and especially in July it was picture perfect!The cabins!!!! Oh my god are these cabins so amazing some are incredibly old! And it’s worth staying in then you have that real cabin in the woods feel!!

Great Host. She is very friendly and welcoming.The place has greenery all around. It’s very quiet and peaceful. There is a lake adjacent to the lodge with boating facilities.

Had an amazing stay here with my parents July 2021! Jennifer and David were incredible hosts - very warm, welcoming and informative about activities and wildlife in the area. Food was incredible - fresh, homemade and delicious! Situated on a beautiful turquoise lake with mountain views - you can watch schools of fish swimming from the dock. Would definitely recommend taking the canoes or kayaks out for a spin. Swimming in the lake is fantastic. Lots to explore in the area. We saw tons of wildlife - deer, pelicans, bears. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I were just up at Eagle Bear (July 2021)... stunning part of the world. Amazing hosts, food and cozy accommodations. Love Trooper, their dog as well!!! We intend to head back next summer to do some additional exploring...

A little piece of paradise for those wanting to get away from the bustle of the city and truly find peace with nature.The Moose cabin was rustic and private for our romantic get away with our dog. No cell service and limited wifi made it an ideal get away where one could enjoy Eagle lake and it surrounding mountains and wildlife. From the comfort of our bed, we watched shooting stars light up the crystal clear night sky.Best if all were the hosts who went above and beyond to accommodate us. They made our stay wonderful with great conversation, local knowledge, and spectacular food.Overall this stay was more then we could ask for and we can't wait to go back.

Overall an excellent stay. Quiet, serene and beautiful. The cabin is beautifully appointed - immaculate and cozy. The hosts are super nice and very knowledgeable. Their knowhow about the locale, nearby points of interest and activities is impeccable. Super flexible with some of our most unusual requests. The food was delicious and they were kind enough to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Highly recommended for at least 2 to 3 nights. Thank you Dave and Jen for letting us stay, we will definitely come back soon!

Simply stunning! Arrived to a friendly greeting and a jaw-dropping view. Then after a quick look around and some directions for hiking and canoeing, we went out on the turquoise water for a pristine paddle. An absolute must do when in this area. Spend at least a couple days!

Eagle Bear Lodge is a gem in one of the prettiest areas of BC. Rustic yet modern, it’s a unique get-away so calm and beautiful you won’t want to leave. Don’t book fewer than two or three nights!Surrounded by breathtaking views and with marvellous photographs on the walls, the dining room is homelike and the meals delicious. The cabins are cozy and clean.David and Jennifer are sophisticated yet down to earth hosts, and full of fun; very knowledgeable about wildlife and the environment!

This is such a lovely place! Eagle Bear Lodge is one of my favourite places in the Chilcotin and super private, secluded away from all the Hustle and bustle directly on the lake. Jen and David are great hosts and their cabins are very cute, comfortable and have everything you need. I had breakfast and dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic!! Home made bread, fresh fish, home made deserts, granola, etc. There are different activities the lodge offers or you can just go explore the area and lake by yourself. David and Jen have a lot of experience observing and photographing wildlife and are always willing to give advice and be helpful with tips of what to do and where to go explore.This is truly a very special place where you can reconnect with nature and enjoy the quiet with beautiful views of the lake and mountains!
