My husband and I enjoyed a 4 night stay in the Sunset Suite. The location is perfect and central to everything in Gros Morne. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Otto was an amazing host sharing lots of information and stories about the park and about Newfoundland. Marion’s breakfasts were awesome with fresh bread and jams. Can’t really say enough about how great this place is!

I called to book with Otto and he said you will love this place, and he was right. We stayed in the sunset suite which was lovely, spacious and the bed was so comfortable! Otto and Barb were just lovely hosts and greeted us in the morning for the great continental breakfast which was way more than I thought I would get. Freshly baked homemade bread, waffles made to order, eggs, cereal, etc. We even got a banana bread care package when we drove away. Otto recommended a great local fishing experience for my future son in law and he was thrilled to catch and kiss his first cod! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Rocky Harbour.

Wonderful experience at AJI. Otto the owner was so kind to pick me up at the airport, as I don’t drive. As well he made all arrangements to have a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide to take me around! Highly recommend! So solo ladies, don’t be intimidated by the fact you don’t drive! You will be well taken care of!

Very friendly hosts. Good size room, nice and clean. Walking distance to many restaurants and a great view of the harbour. Excellent waffles with home made jam for toppings! Really enjoyed our 2 night stay in Rocky Harbour.

Very friendly and helpful. Owners take pride in their inn and service they provide. Definitely would return. Breakfast waffles were fantastic with local blueberries.

Maritime hospitality at its finest !! Location was perfect, accommodations were stellar. Rooms are beautifully handcrafted by the owner. Otto, you are one of a kind, full of history information, place to see and the best story teller ever. Marion, keeps this emaculate place exactly that .. emaculate.. and she serves up the perfect breakfast to start your day . Thanks for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend!!

Excellent Inn, wonderful town.Otto and Barb are terrific helpful hosts. Suggest getting anchors aweigh tickets as soon as you make the reservation. They are very difficult to get, although Barb managed to get us tickets at the last minute. Java Jack’s and Black Spruce are excellent high end restaurants- reservations required.

We had a wonderful stay at the Augustus Jane Inn. The room was very clean and comfortable, the hosts super friendly and support you with a lot of informations regarding the Gros Morne and the Rocky Harbour area. Favorite of every day: The morning waffle with homemade jam.Love to come back :)

Hosts were amazing- provided breakfast in the morning which was delicious. Hosts provided local recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were spotless, very comfortable and quiet. One of our favourite places we stayed on our trip to NL. We will be back!
