Second time trying this place but was very disappointed. When you walk in, you would immediately realize that this place doesn’t have the warmest customer service. Owner looked very serious and gave off a vibe where you almost feel like you are an intruder rather than a customer. Food was good but definitely overpriced compared to Zesty Pita or Pita Nutso for the quality. It is understandable given this is an established restaurant with higher costs so I didn’t care as much about the price. Beyond the unwelcoming customer service and the overpriced food, what was most frustrating was the packaging of the food. The cook wraps the pita in an aluminum foil then carelessly toss it to the counter. It was then placed in a paper bag and handed to me. Not only 2 minutes later, oil started dripping through the foil and the bag, onto my pants and the leathered car seat. This was unexpected and extremely inconvenient. I rarely leave bad reviews or reviews in general, but I think this incident deserves some attention because it was truly upsetting.

Horrendous. Ordered through Door Dash and it was probably the worst shawarma I’ve ever had. First off… I wanted the plate with rice & salad. Under the “popular items” menu there’s one item marked as “Chicken Shawarma” and has a picture of the plate with rice & salad… Ordered that just to receive this pathetic small dry shawarma wrap. Not at all what I wanted and furthermore it gave me food poisoning.Writing this review at 4:24am, sick.Do yourself a favour and go to Zesty Pita. I’m telling all my friends & family to avoid this business completely.

I have never ever been disappointed by a meal from this restaurant. The Montfort Chicken in a pita is my most favorite takeout ever! Little tip: if you can't eat it right away and need to drive a bit to take it home just ask them to keep the pita on the side and you can assemble it fresh once home. This way the amazing juices from the meat and pineapple won't make the pita soggy :) I am always pleased with their food and customer service. And the prices in my opinion are more than fair.

Love the food I buy from here each time. Been a loyal customer since they were way back in Itabashi Way. Home fries is tasty and so are the rice and sashlik! Good job guys! Owner looks serious but is nice when you talk to him. Just be polite people and people will be polite to you in return!

extremely underwhelming. i’ve heard from so many friends how good this place was and i was so excited to try it! i ordered the vegetarian special (i am very serious about my love of falafel) and i’m being completely honest, worst falafel i’ve ever had. tut’s and liberty shawarma in toronto will forever reign supreme for me (and these are bare minimum 4am fast food spots). this falafel was over cooked, bland and tasteless—i had to cover each bite in a mountain of hummus and eggplant salad to make it taste good (those two were pretty good, not sure if hummus was house made though). the rice was awful—had no taste, over cooked, and had a weird buttery/oily consistency. none of my family members enjoyed their meals, will not be ordering again.

My family has ordered from this location numerous times before .Yesterday we ordered the Mixed grill for 4 and the Monfort chicken pita.Based on the customer service and quality of food giving this a 1 star is generous.The Monfort chicken was extremely dry and tasteless in both the mix platter and pita. The pork was not good, very rubbery and hard. The best part was the salad.I called in later on in the evening just to advise that the chicken tasted stale, like it was reheated frozen food. I DID NOT ask for a refund - it was just to let the restaurant know what my experience was. The man who spoke to me was extremely rude and asked me why I called hours later to tell him. He pretty much said it was my fault as it was prepared to be picked up at 5:30pm and I got there at 5:40pm.I definitely will not be coming back to this location mostly because of the EXTREMELY BAD custom service!

THIS MONTFORT’s IS THE BEST IN BURLINGTON!My wife and I ordered takeout and made the mistake of doing it through Uber eats. The Uber driver only picked up half the order and said that it was my problem when I contacted him.I called the restaurant and they confirmed that the driver had dropped the ball and left before the order was completely ready.One of the employees went ABOVE AND BEYOND and drove the remaining part of our order on her own dime. I wish I had gotten her name but unfortunately I didn’t. We can only hope her boss sees this and figures out who it is and takes really good care of this employee as she is the best.Both my wife will be sharing this restaurant with all of our friends and clients. More importantly we will be return customers for sure.Thanks again Montfort Appleby.
