Once Upon A Child

I went to this location and dropped off one box and one tote bag full of baby boy clothes, socks, shoes, and a Harry Potter crib skirt they told me to come back in a few hours. I called them and they told me that they were gonna give me $79.10 for my stuff but I had go to back yesterday before they close or they’ll give me a store credit so my husband and I went and when I got there they only gave me $27.10 for 20 items and gave me back the rest of the clothes and told me that they where either stained or out of style. I told them that I know they’re not stained I went through everything before I brought my stuff in. So the person at counter said well then they’re out of style… 90% of the clothes I brought in where from the gap plus how can baby clothes be out of style it’s clothes! Such a waste of time

Lots of product here! Found a few gems for my little one. Will pop by again when I'm in the area. Note: the store is a little small, so keep that in mind if you have a massive stroller like me lol.

Rude, disinterested staff; messy, cramped store full of tripping hazards and inaccessible for strollers or people with mobility issues.That's nothing new, I've usually put up with it because of the prices on clothing/items. My recent experience is why I won't be going back.Had some clothes to sell. They were very busy, so they told us to leave the clothes there and they would let us know when they were ready. Totally fine.Got the message the next business day and went to get our money/pick up the clothes they weren't going to take. We were told that they couldn't find our other items, but don't worry they'll just donate them for us.Completely unreasonable. We could have sold them privately, given them to a charity of our choosing, or even cut them up and used them as rags, but nope. They managed to lose them in an area the size of a child's bedroom, even though this (buying/selling used clothing) is literally the point of their business model. Calling it theft" would be a stretch

A great place for gently used children’s items. There was lots of selection for clothes and a great promotion at the time we went where we got more than we bargained for at an affordable price! Only downside is the store is quite small and can be difficult to browse through when it gets busy.

Been going to this location for years, great selection of clothes, jackets, shoes and toys for great prices especially items out of season.To everyone selling their items and complaining about the return. It’s a business, they need to make money to keep people employed and pay for a space. Some clothing articles sell for as low as $4-5/piece so getting a return of $1-2 isn’t a bad return considering you walk into a store and drop off your articles. Don’t like it then sell it on Kijiji or FB Marketplace. As customers my wife and I appreciate being able to walk into a store and browsing. Our kids are entertained by the toys and clean up after themselves but we see many children who leave a mess and the poor staff need to clean up after them when this place is not a daycare.Staff have always been nice and courteous in the 6 years that we’ve been going to this location and we’ve only seen it get busier as demand grows.

Very nice staff but the toy I bought my child had batterys left in it and they leaked battery acid. I live a hr away so I dident check until I got home but the toy never ended up working. My son is so sad.

Great way to share gently used baby and toddler items, while recouping some of the expenditure from the original purchase!

I went today to sell my kids stuff ( known brands and in incredible conditions )and they paid less than $2 for each item, but they sell used t-shirts for $9! Horrible experience....

Regarding selling baby items, horrible experience. I dropped by today to sell like new Peg Perego stroller and bassinet .. I thought I can get little less than half the price or even quarter of it .. they offered me 6% only .. it’s so funny .. I will rather keep it for memory better than selling it .. customer service so unwelcoming and the store smells bad and packed with stuff .. I don’t recommend to anyone

Had two items (toys) to sell and they said it would be a one hour wait to process. Riduculous! I could maybe understand if I had a large bag of clothes, but two items? Could not be bothered to wait. They are not business people. Easier to sell on FB Marketplace.
