Beautiful cakes and other yummy baked good. The personalized cake they made for my mothers birthday certainly was a hit.

Tried the egg tart. It is tasty. Will try another item next time.

Yummy bakery on Victoria Drive! Lots of assorted baked goods and pastries. Cash only. I ordered a cake and had an easy and quick pickup. The 8 inch mango mousse cake was $35.80. Staff was nice and gave me a candle too.

Their mango cake was so fresh and delicious! It had thinly sliced fresh mango and light whipped cream. Not too sweet and just right. I didn’t try their other items but there was a crowd inside buying their goods and their steam buns and other products all looked amazing and fresh.

Super delicious buns. Got some buns for the Lunar New Year. Some cinnamon bun style buns but with red bean flavour and a seeet coconut flavour. Really good!

Great deal and place to buy gift back to Calgary. I only spent $20.00 with hug item, also fresh from oven. Mango roll is only $6.50 such a good deal

My review is towards the service I had today Tuesday December 13, 2022 at approximately 2:50pm and it’s not towards their bakery. I actually even made a video in June 2022 on my Tiktok account reviewing how good their steam BBQ pork buns are.Unfortunately it had to come down to a google review on how RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL & UNPROFESSIONAL customer service by this older lady at the counter. At first it was totally fine. We both nicely spoke Cantonese. I grabbed three Swiss cake rolls from the counter, then I asked nicely for two deep fried minced pork buns and cocktail buns from their display. I then asked the lady “is this flaky crust egg tart?” The lady replied, “yes it is. The sign says it.” I replied, “no the sign says EGG TART,” and sorry I can’t read Chinese. The lady said, “yes it’s flaky crust egg tart.” I’ll side track one second here. For people that don’t know the difference there is a cookie crust and flaky crust egg tart so I just wanted to make sure.Anyways let’s continue back on our interaction. At the end I asked for a six inch birthday cake from their fridge and I even asked nicely may I get a written Happy Birthday Mom on my cake. The lady replied, “oh we don’t do that here.” I’m replied, “that is totally fine thank you.” Then lady said, “I’ll give you a HBD card/plastic sign to place on the cake. I’m like oh great thank you.Ok now I’m at the cashier about to pay. This is when things getting very ugly on her part of customer service. My total was $43.20. I used cash to pay. I took out a $5 bill and $20 bill = $25 so I’m still short $18.20. So I took out six toonie = $12, three loonie = $3, (nine quarters + nine dimes, one nickel) = $3.20 that’s a total of $18.20 in change.The lady suddenly said in Chinese to me which I will translate word for work into English here. She said, “NEXT TIME WE WON’T ACCEPT THIS MUCH CHANGE.”I wanted to flip out on this lady but I kept my cool. There was two customers in the store as well. I said, “excuse me is this not money I’m using to pay? You know Canada doesn’t have a $2 bill anymore. This is Canadian money I’m using to pay. What’s wrong with it? Is there a sign that says no toonie, loonie or change allowed?”She had nothing to say and just stood there ignoring my question. At this point I wanted to just say, “I no longer want to buy any of your bakery.” She then took my money and when she closed her cashier she made her one last remark. She said, “ok I’ll tell the boss next time write a sign.”I’m like a sign for what???? And I’m shaking my head. As I got to my car I checked the birthday cake and she never even gave me a HBD card/sign.That was such a rude, disrespectful and unprofessional thing to say to a paying customer. “Next time we won’t accept this much change ($18.20)” 6 toonie, 3 loonie, 9 quarters, 9 dimes, 1nickel.

One of several bakery options here on Victoria drive. You can see into their kitchen and watch them bring in and make the buns.The staff today was nice and used English to help select certain buns. Decent selection, and their menu did not appear to be reduced.Reasonable prices - 3 mini coconut buns for $2. Cash only.Parking can be a bit difficult along Victoria depending on which part of the day you go.Covid precautions include max 3 people in the bakery. Lightly enforced by the staff and more customer driven based on the lineup outside. Touchless entry as door is open. Shielded cashier. Everyone was wearing masks.

We love this bakery. My daughter especially. We do not live close but when we are in the area we always pop in and buy a bunch of items. The prices are fair and seem to be a good deal. They are always baking fresh, I can't speak for every item, but the ones we have purchased.The hot dog bun and pineapple custard bun is my daughter's favorite. The only thing we did not like last time...was we found a Bone in our chicken pot pie...real turn off from that item anyhow!!!

Was surprised with a Fruit Cocktail Whipped Cream cake for my birthday. First time from this bakery and compared to others, absolutely delicious. This cake is for those who don't want anything too sweet. Sponge cake is light as air and whipped cream is rich and thick. Layered with fruit cocktail in center with fresh fruit garnish on top. Worth the drive.
