Good food

Service was extremely slow. Almost an hour wait for order. Portions were large but my porkchops were tough.

Awesome food!!! Me and my girlfriend split a fish and chips with poutine, huge portions of fish with really nice thick batter. The poutine was also more than enough for two and had wicked gravy. Will be back as this is the best value restaurant we tried in gros morne.Staff is super friendly and had quick service.They have gas as well which is very nice!!!Located on the same property as the table lands cottages.

Highly recommend the superbuger - there's a lot more going on than just the beef in that delicious patty - and while it does not say so on the menu, they will sub a salad for potatoes. Minus 1 star for a very rustic ambience.

Visited here during a staycation after walking out of another restaurant just down the road. The server was very friendly and personable. The food was excellent for diner style food, it was made to order and service was reasonably quick. I have to point out that everything was homemade, a big plus in my books. The prices are really good for the amount of food you recieve, and compared to other local eats. We ordered two drinks, both were very tasty and came in a cute whale tail glass. The dinning room was plain and simple, and temperature wise was warm until the AC got turned on.Overall, it was a great meal, exactly what we were looking for at a very reasonable price. Actually, one of the best meals we had in that area. My only regret was we didn't get to eat here a second time before we left.

Raised in Labrador. Been living away for 23 years. Visited Trout River for the first time. Ate at The Blue Whale for the first time. Scenery was no match for the food. Everything was perfect. Amazing service and a fantastic meal.
