Melanie is amazing!!!! I used Motherhood photography for my maternity and newborn photos. She makes you feel comfortable being in front of the camera and her photos are truely amazing!!! I had so many great photos it was hard to pick out my favourites!!! Would highly recommend!

We booked our newborn and family photos with Melanie at the tail end of the covid restrictions. We were so happy when the restrictions were lifted and she was able to work her magic (hands-on). I was nervous about how cooperative my now 8-week old would be. Melanie just swooped her up and worked her charm. Our daughter was relaxed and it was completely stress free for mom, dad, and babe. Her studio is beautiful and organized with a variety of props and clothing for mom and baby. Melanie made everything from booking to the actual session very seamless and I would recommend her to anyone looking for newborn or family photos!

I saw how amazing Melanie was and had to have her for my maternity and newborn/family photos. They all turned out beautiful, she made it so hard to choose I had to upgrade my packages for each photo shoot. Her studio is beautiful and has that relaxing feel. She has all the props you need and will even let you bring your own.(I’m from back East so a lobster trap was a must with our son’s newborn pictures) She handled our son so well. Raiden stayed asleep the entire time even after the way she positioned him and swaddled him differently for pictures. She makes you feel comfortable and she’s super nice and accommodating. I would 100% recommend Motherhood Photography. You will not be disappointed.

Melanie has captured both my two boys’ newborn shots, family pics and countless mini sessions! She’s an expert at posing newborns/ toddlers/family to get the shot just right, even can grab those perfect, spontaneous shots! - Their overall professionalism, and the quality with the final product is second to none! I display these images proudly throughout my home, office, social media — wherever I get to show-off these wonderful photos! I’m thankful I have such beautiful photos to cherish for years to come! :)

Pregnancy has hands down been the most mentally and physically challenging experience I have been through. The idea of getting maternity photos done was one of my biggest fears as an expecting mother. The thought of capturing my new body made me nervous to say the least. After working with Melanie in the studio and seeing the process unfold it completely changed my perspective. She made me feel so confident and comfortable not only in the studio, but in myself after seeing the photos! It was the best experience I could have asked for and I am now beyond proud of myself for what my body has done to be able to grow our baby boy! I can't thank you enough for what you did, working with Melanie was more than just a maternity session!

Melanie is a phenomenal photographer, she captured beautiful photos of my daughter, mother and I.& she is so kind and welcoming. I would most definitely recommend her and I will be returning for more photos in the future!

So happy with my photos! Beautiful quality that I can't wait to display on my walls. Melanie is very detailed, even editing my toddler's shirt to cover a tiny bit of his diaper that was peaking out. These details make for superior photos!. Melanie was wonderful at handling my newborn safely. I would highly recommend her, only problem is it's impossible to decide which pictures to print as they are all amazing.

Melanie did my maternity pictures for both pregnancies and newborn pictures. Melanie was very helpful and prompt in replying to my questions and inquiries. We took too long to pick our pictures the second time around so Melanie offered to come over and help me choose. I really appreciated this. We love all our pictures. Melanie was great with my newborn and toddler. She also has a great selection of maternity dresses, newborn wraps, toddler shirts, and all kind of props. Melanie is a wonderful photographer and a wonderful person. Over a year ago I was thrilled to book a maternity session with her, but, sadly, we had an unexpected medical emergency with our young son, and although we tried very hard to make things work we had to cancel our session. Melanie was so incredibly supportive and empathetic and understanding. Going above and beyond the professional, she showed such personal care, it meant a lot to me. She held our retainer deposit for over a year with the assurance that it would go towards a future session. We just enjoyed a beautiful milestone shoot, and I can't wait to see the end results. I'm so grateful to her and I will recommend her to everyone I know
