New to the Okanagan and feel extremely fortunate to have found Felicity as my colourist/hair stylist at Mod Salon! My neglected post-pandemic nightmare hair has been transformed by her (thank you, thank you!!). I went in for a consult and we discussed my hopes and dreams for a better look. I came back a week later and was excited by Felicity's vision for elevating my hair colour and allowing me to keep some length with style. She did not disappoint. I am thrilled with my new colour, highlights & style and walked out of the salon into the holiday season feeling like a shining star! amazing salon, beautiful features. staff is super nice, and friendly. they got me in on late notice and still accommodated lots of time for my appointment. Felicity did my hair and she was amazing! super kind and sweet. awesome girl to hangout with

I love my hair appointments at Mod salon! If you’re looking for a hair stylist that is professional, friendly, and an expert in her field, I highly recommend visiting Kaytlyn. She is a joy to spend time with (if you’re like me and spend 4+ hours for hair appointments), she makes sure you are comfortable, and gives great recommendations on products to try to extend the life of my colour. I’m always leaving feeling extremely happy with the work she has done to my hair. 12/10!

I've honestly been crying for 3 days. I paid $207 and ya its not $500 but I just expected more for that money. I asked for a balayage and I have really blond highlights underneath my hair and no balayage on the outside of my hair. The stylist started underneath because told her I put my hair up a lot and wanted it to be lightened up but the bleach had more time to process because that was the first thing she bleached. The bleach didn't really lift on the outside and the only change is that it's more red than before. I am also noticing missing streaks :/ I don't want anyone to go through this, please go somewhere else for balayage. Yes, I have a free re-do appointment, and they were really nice about it, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place and I shouldnt have to cry for a week until I get it fixed.P.s. I had virgin hair so I don't think I was a challenging case to colourUpdate after redo:Still have blond streaks coming from underneath my hair after the permanent cover up for the uber blond parts. Forwent the balayage and just asked to make my hair look like before. Stylist didn't have it in her to say sorry about anything. She made excuses for the underneath lightening.. saying my top hair has chemicals in it that make the top bleach different than the underneath... I have virgin hair. Admitted that the bleach was on longer underneath but doesn't know what really happened". The front guy was really nice

Allie is so kind and helpful! I went to her last week for a colour change (and it was a bit of a challenge due to multiple colours being in my hair already) and she did the best she could. I wasn’t 100% happy with it and went back today and she fixed me right up! Without any complaint, any blame or arguing. It is obvious that she values her clients and the services she provides. The salon itself is beautiful, upbeat and every person is smiling. Will definitely be returning!

Robyn did a wonderful job today! The cut looks fresh and she was able to get it to look exactly as I hoped. I’m a bit awkward in a chair but she gave me good conversation. She was able to give me a great fade to compliment my new beard and jawline, just as I asked for. I went to buy groceries right after and an employee complimented my haircut the same day! Thank you Mod Salon team. Excellent all around service from the moment I walked in and offered a tea to the moment I got home. :)

Absolutely terrible. Went into the salon with my ‘virgin’ hair and asked for some natural highlights over winter to lighten up my hair. The lady bleached my hair and the aftermath has been traumatising - hair falling out, frizzy, awful colour. No warning on what bleach does to hair beforehand which is negligible and totally unprofessional, especially when it is not the service at all that I asked for. Would recommend to stay clear.
