Shoppers Drug Mart

This place has become a literal joke. They don't answer their phones, I usually have to call upwards of 5 times (if they answer at all) my average wait time in person is over half an hour and it's usually hit or miss if they actually get my order ready. Multiple times now I have gone in near closing (because they waited all day to get my order ready) only for it to be wrong and to be told you either pay for it as is or you have to wait till tonorrow" I'm diabetic

Definitely a 0 star. The pharmacy doesn't even answer their phones so people can't refill their prescriptions via phone call. Definitely a huge inconvenience. I mean how hard is it to pick up a phone?

They never answer the phone unless you wait for hours on hold or keep trying everytime time I call for the last few years. Called in a renewal last Wednesday was told ok with fax doctor prescriptions just check in tomorrow. My wife went to pick them up today and toll nothing until Monday and was very rude. I called same person and rude again. Next Monday that almost 14 days to get refill really. HaHad enough of that place it is the last time.

If I could less than one star I would. Pharmacy is the worst. I’m gf hand I could literally name 10 things that are wrong with this place but let me just name todays issue. My granddaughter needs her asthma puffer, literally a life saving medication and I was on hold with shoppers for 35 mins. That’s after I tried to call for 22 mins and got the busy signal. While on hold I was sent back to the main menu three times and hung up on twice. I am now switching to another pharmacy. With the SDM time changes there are no longer any advantages to dealing with this pharmacy. I might actually be able to get my prescription without having to wait 3-4 days.

Worst pharmacy in Timmins. Hangs up the phone when you call, never fills prescriptions on time, always tell you they will do something like add your meds to the delivery and never do it. The workers there are completely incompetent at their jobs and really need to be replaced. Until then, use ANY other pharmacy cause there is non as bad as this one.

Never opened when you actually need them! The new hours are ridiculous! Bring back 24hrs. Most people need the pharmacy at night due to emergencies...example: in need of medication to treat yourself at home.Not everyone runs to the hospital the minute they have an issue, to wait for hours on end for something when they know how to treat it at home..!Update: Though I appreciate your reply and understand your statement... I still believe you should close at midnight at the very least.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Can’t reach them on the phone, always huge lineups. Prescriptions are never filled when promised.Reading the other reviews it seems as though this is a consistent issue and that shoppers drug mart has not listened to their customers and attempted to make change.Likely trying to keep costs to a minimum and increase profits by maintaining a low number of staff.Answer your phones!

they never answer the phone and will jump you around in hold forever. If they hired some people with a brain it would be nice. Shouldn’t have 7 people working and let the dummest one help w customers. Also with 7 people you think they would learn how to answer a phone

Worst experience with the pharmacy department. For about a year now, I am constantly waiting for my prescriptions to be refilled. They claim to fax my doctor but when I call to check, nothing had been received from them. I have to call multiple times to ensure the faxes have been sent back and forth because they then claim they have not received anything from my doc when in fact a fax was confirmed to have been sent. Waiting more than a week for a refill is unacceptable. Phones are either not answered or you are put on hold for a long time. Lineups are horrible once your prescription is ready (usually at least 20 minutes wait). Customer service needs major improvements. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
