We've called Jacques a few times before, already have a future project planned, and will definitely call again to help out with things that I'm not comfortable enough to do myself. Super friendly guy, professional, quick, punctual, and makes sures things are clean and you are satisfied before leaving. Absolutely 100% recommend!

We hired Jacques to do exterior work which took 1.5 weeks to complete. While pricey, I was very satisfied with the work he completed during that time. He was excellent at communicating available choices in carrying out the projects, as well as showing up on the days he promises to work. He arrived to work on the projects with the necessary power tools as well as materials and demonstrated finesse in repair work.

I was looking for someone to do a couple small jobs around our home & Jacques exceeded our expectations. He was quick, efficient, and communicated everything he was doing. When a job required extra parts, he took initiative to go get the parts needed & scheduled a new time to come back. Fair price, too! We’ll be using Jacques for any future repairs needed. Jacques did an excellent job during the renovation of my kitchen & updating various taps & faucets in the washrooms. He pays attention to detail & if a problem arises, he figures out how to solve it. I highly recommend him & would definitely hire him in the future.

I first hired Jacques to work on my home and was so impressed that I decided to use his services again to do extensive repairs and improvements on a separate rental property that I had just purchased. I was impressed with Jacques' attention to detail and about how he went above and beyond in order to make sure that repairs were done properly. Jacques is a great and responsive communicator, making sure that all is clear and agreed-upon before the job is done. No after-the-fact surprises with him! Jacques is friendly, efficient, and practical. He is easy to deal with and has a keen eye for design. I do not hesitate when recommending him to friends and neighbours.Over the years he has undertaken a number of projects for me, including replacing old-style pot lights with LED fixtures, adding switches and replacing a circuit breaker. He also painted some rooms after replacing their base boards and door trims. Jacques also worked with me to redesign my kitchen, which included removing a wall between it and the family room.In 2020, I decided that it was time for Jacques to replace my 30-year-old deck (33' x 14'). When we met to discuss my plan, I had already purchased over one hundred 12’ composite boards during Rona’s closeout sale and had a sketch showing how I envisioned the deck surface would look.Jacques suggested major changes to my proposed design. These changes made the deck more visually appealing and minimized the number of plank joints. He added a six-foot privacy screen at one end and removed 16’ of railings by designing wrap-around stairs for the lower part of the deck. These changes transformed my DIY design to one I would have expected from a professional.Before starting the project, Jacques created two AutoCAD drawings – one for the deck surface and another for the beams and joists. The drawings helped me understand the extent of the work and the order and timing in which it had to be done. They also accompanied the permit application, ensuring the deck would pass inspection without issue.Jacques always showed up on time and ready for a full day of work whenever weather permitted. I was impressed with his ability to turn potential setbacks (like legacy joists at the wrong location for our new design) into opportunities for improvement. Jacques renovated our bathroom and did an excellent job. He installed everything we asked for and suggested several things that took our Reno to the next level. We are impressed with the craftsmanship of the job, and have already committed to our next project.

Jacques is truly a “Jack of all trades.” He installed a catwall for us and did not quit until it was safe, stable and beautiful. He also did some other random repairs around the house and we were super happy with everything. I recommend Jacques without hesitation.
