this visit at joey’s we decided to do the $28 unlimited cape hake & coconut shrimp w another serving of shrimp how you like. & the $23 solo plate special for me. the portions of the cape hake were almost too much for us! the coconut shrimp is always delicious and we got the second shrimp as cajun. this was a great deal and was so mouthwatering! we always have a great experience at this location, we will keep coming back for our seafood cravings!

Good place with really tasty food. Lemonade and beer were amazing. But the restaurant is really dirty and stuff does not clean it properly. We were also waiting for our order for too long. And the place itself is old, furniture needs to be updated.

We have made a regular habit of getting family size fish and chips to go ever since covid started.The food is consistently good, service is friendly and they always write a nice little note on the side of the bags when I pick up.It's a little thing that really makes me smile. Thanks and keep it up !

My favorite seafood restaurant by far and I'm always happy to attend it! Food is always delicious and years ago I got one of my favorite toys from this exact restaurant! The Ogopojoe was really good although I left a mess because I tend to be really bad at holding a sandwich in my hands but the sweet potato fries were also really good along with the dipping sauce accompanying them and the brownie is my favorite dessert and great example of a hot and cold sweet food! Definitely returning for more, and friendly service too.

We just moved in to winnipeg and i this spot was recommended by a friend cos i told him i want to celebrate my 8years wedding anniversary with my family.. i love sea food and i couldn’t wait to explore. To be honest from the waitress, environment and settings it’s a A+!! The meal was great and not to pricey.

The staff were attentive and helpful absolutely no complaints. We came at shift change and it was done seamlessly. Both waitresses were great. One actually brought out a refill of our drinks without us asking.My partner and I came for a late lunch and ordered one 3 option appetizer and one 5 option appetizer, so we both ended up with 4 items. Portions are notably small for menu items that boast “sharing” them.I was very disappointed in the Calamity Bites they are just not good, very fishy tasting. I couldn’t finish them and didn’t want to take them home as leftovers either. I had assumed they were clam strips like other places but in fact they are just deep fried baby clams.The Calamari was average.The Deep Fried Pickles were good but a very small portion, 3 pickle quarters is not even one whole pickle which is kind of laughable. The Crispy Pacific Shrimp were tasty but again a very small portion we could easily have enjoyed double or triple the amount.The Pickerel Wings were really awful, lots of bones and just totally unappetizing they just really miss the mark.Shrimp and Lobster Mac and Cheese was tasty but again very small bowl.The only thing that came out in any abundance was the Garlic Bread, which in reality was really nothing special.Also kind of felt like we were in a “fun house” at a carnival with the sloping floors. That was very strange indeed.So all and all the service was well done but the food left a little too much to be desired.

Famous fish and chips are always a good choice. All you can eat on Tuesdays. Great service, food and reasonably priced.

Do not dine here often but had take out on Good Friday. Most locations have different decor on the nautical theme and a change of scenery is always nice. All locations regardless of location have the same consistent quality though
