Thompson installed my new Lennox furnace in 2018, they did a decent job. However when the furnace failed during the cold snap after Christmas of 2021 they never returned my calls at first, finally got a technician and had to order a part(2 weeks) no heat! Dec 22/22 same new part failed again. I called that morning and was told the service manager would call as soon as possible, NO CALL! I called repeatedly and got the answering service. NO HELP! When I finally talked to the lack of service manager 5 days later she booked an appointment for the 4th of January. This all happened to a furnace that will be 5 years old this spring. I called another company and they had the furnace fixed on the 30th of December. I strongly suggest using a different company for your home heating etc. They were prompt for the salesman to show up, but that’s the last fast service I had.

Please avoid at all costs!!! They installed our cooling system and used poor quality materials that I’ve been told are actually now banned due to quality concerns. We had a third party come in to diagnose the issues we were having and advised Thompson did an extremely poor quality install, and used an oil pan so cheaply made it melted through thus causing us a $1400+ repair bill. The 3rd party company advised I should contact Thompson as this was 100% their fault and they should fix at no charge. I contacted them and heard absolutely nothing for a week, called multiple times with no answer. Finally reached someone and was told it was going to be weeks before they could even “look into my inquiry”. It’s been over 3 months and I haven’t heard anything and just paid the $1400 to have it fixed. PLEASE NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

I ordered the heat exchange/air conditioning system in January of this year (2022) with the intent of having everything installed on June 8-10. Unfortunately, due to supply chain problems, the generator was not in stock for these dates. However, the Thompson & Heating crew continued on with their commitment and installed everything in anticipation of this missing piece of equipment arriving as soon as possible. I can honestly say that all of the crew were professional, respectful, knowledgable, diligent and hard-working and left a very good impression with me about this company.On June 25 (Saturday) I was advised that the generator had arrived and that one other member of this team, Ryan, would be installing this piece of equipment on his own. Once again, Ryan was professional, respectful, knowledgable, diligent and hard-working. He had completed this job late on this day and prior to leaving tested and showed me how to operate this system. Unfortunately, 45 minutes after he left the system shut down and I was not able to troubleshoot the problem. I should mention the weather was 30 degrees plus on this day and the air conditioning system was needed.As a result of this setback, I called Ryan directly on his personal cell phone the following day (Sunday) only to learn he was on his day off. Recognizing the urgency of my call due to the heat, Ryan on his own valition took the time to come back to my house where he spent a couple of hours troubleshooting and fixing the problem which allowed my family and I to escape this heat wave.I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with him and the service he provided me and my family. His actions reinforced the positive impression all of the Thompson & Heating crew had on me.It is my opinion, that Thompson & Heating is a 5 star company and I would recommend them to anyone who is considering having any heating or cooling service done to their home.Don Cayer

Very good price for complete heating and air system .The quality of work appeared to be much superior to the system that was replaced. I would definitely recommend Thompson Heating & Cooling company.
