John Fraser Secondary School

My son is studying in G 9 over there last year my elder son guarded from there. Good teachers but environment is not very good must improve it. Staff must keep an eye on students activities.

Very bad communication, has a lot of capacity planning problems that shouldn’t be accepted. Very disappointing to see how their system works and how they treat some people. I live 2 min walk from the school and they decline my son but people from other areas are going to the school. Unbelievable as I’m paying more to be in that area.

I have had two kids go through this school. It is a wonderful place where the kids go on to do well in life. Teachers here really care. The atmosphere is a studious one with many clubs and activities. Both my kids never got into the usual trouble in high school. Thanks.

Education wise, top notch! Great teachers (mostly) and mostly nice people. However, the amount of clubs and how interesting the clubs are is not so great. The surroundings are boring, but that's Mississauga's problem...

This school is the best when you are not afraid to ask for help while struggling. Some of the negative comments are because students who blames their own problem to school's education system. Great school. Great teacher that's all I can say

The school's environment is horrible.. bullism at its peak and administration does nothing about it they actually support it. Some Indian math teachers are biased deliberately give low marks to students who are not from same ethnicity. They teach 0 and spend more time on their phone listening to old Indian music in classroom. And telling students about their stupid journey from cab drivers to math teacher. Canadian education RIP

This school is conveniently located right across from the Erin Mills Town Center. It has plenty of parking and is surrounded by a couple beautiful parks and playgrounds. I love taking a walk around this area. It's covid lockdown right now so there's not a lot of people but that's ok. Stay safe out there people and keep washing those hands!

Worst school ever. I applied for AP here and I made my essay about roblox e-daters (a real issue) AND THEY REJECTED ME!!! The utter audacity... Don't go to this school. My sister also went to summer school here and she didn't like it. I would give it zero stars but I'm feeling a little nice.

The negative reviews here were mostly posted by students who aren't happy with their performance in school and are blaming it on the school. I can say that John Fraser does have a heavy focus on academics, but it is also chock full of extracurricular activities that cater to any audience, really.I do agree that it could strive for a more intensive athletics program, but honestly it is also about the students themselves. Since it is mostly academics-oriented school, most students don't have much time for athletics, or they aren't very enthusiastic about athletics.In terms of difficulty, the academic-level courses aren't really difficult provided you put in effort (as one should in school), and almost all the teachers are at least decent".Finally
