Amazing pace to go for a great sandwich, people there are very kind and cheery. Across the street there is a nice picnic area to eat your sandwiches. 5 out of 5 stars.

Hadn't been there in years due to being celiac but recently learned that they offer gluten-free (gf) sandwiches. Visited today and sadly they didn't have gf buns. Was told that they had gf penne and I decided to buy it thinking it would be home-made pasta. Not only was it not home-made pasta but it was overcooked to the point of being mushy. Threw the lot in the garbage and won't be returning.

Pretty much echoing what everyone else has been reviewing. Everything in that shop is to die for.From the sandwiches to the meatballs all the way down to the cannolis their food is amazing. The attention to detail, and the fact that the people working there were incredibly helpful, made this experience that much more enjoyable.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food treat.

If I have an option for 10 stars, Di Rienzo’s definitely deserves 10 stars. Not only sandwiches but also pastas, pastries, salads, and delis are unbeatable. My review will never be enough to describe how good everything is, so please go try if you have not tried yet!

Great Italian deli sandwich shop. Take out only!The sandwiches are big, but they used to be more generous on topping, and the prices went up from $5 to $7 a sandwich.They have good sandwich and hot plates options, but no special sauces for their sandwiches just the regular mayo, mustard, Dijon. They do offer sun-dried tomatoes, picked eggplants, and a variety of cheeses.Usually there's a line up at lunch but the guys behind the counter are pretty quick.Cannoli and samosas are OK, but nothing special.If you're a fan of deli sandwiches it's definitely worth it.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend who said this store sells the best sandwiches in Ottawa. She was not kidding, as you can find delicious Italian-style sandwiches here, which you can dress as you like.

Place doesn't accept credit cards and you realize that at the cash register - because the sign is there and not at the entrance of the store.Then you go to withdraw the money and they charge you 2.5 dollars for withdrawal of 20...Food is good, don't get me wrong but experience overall is not.

Excellent, deliscious fresh on the spot made sandwiches, great value, many other home made options available for take out and warming up when home. Very friendly staff. Nice variety specialty grocery store with other products as well. Highly recommend.

YES. SO MUCH YES.Had to come back both times I've been in Ottawa this past year because the sandwiches just blew my mind.It's exactly what you expect a neighbourhood almost new-york style bodega corner place to be like. Organized products, Italian imports, and then the hot foods is where it's at - all in house made pastas, veal parm, ready made for pick-up sandwiches, made to order sandwiches - all so so so good. You'll want to get everything. To top it off, great service as always.Personal recco: #16 is the way to go. With extra mayo and extra mustard.Trust me.

First time I've been here. Excellent selection of Italian sandwiches. Chicken Parmigiano sandwich is excellent as is the beef sandwich. Great little stop for a quick sandwich pickup
