Mike and his staff are amazing! My parents have been their customers for over 25 years and now that my husband and I own our own home, we use Thompson for our house needs. They are super friendly and helpful. They are fast when their is a problem and dealt with my insurance company directly regarding a new hot water tank the insurance company wanted us to install. I recommend Thompson to everyone that I can that lives in or near the Fort.

Great staff came in got the furnace and a hot water tank in in timely fashion they cleaned up and left after going over how to operate both items.

Mike the owner is very matter of fact and listens to what you need. We had Ryan as our main guy and he is very good at what he does. They very accommodating. This company will be my go to for the future.

I was having some issues with my home furnace during a super cold time. They reached out, returned my call and helped me out. The owner also gave me his number if i had any issues or concerns while trying out the new parts. Despite not using their services for the installation they were very helpful with trouble shooting and supplying parts. They saved me over 200$ on one part alone.

I've had problems with slow draining from kitchen sink ever since moved into my house about 5 years ago. Had previously called another plumbing company, but they never really fixed it. Apparently the problem is that with island sink, there is long horizontal run for drain pipe, and so is prone to getting blockages. Also ventilation was not adequate. Long story short, it took 4 visits in total, but they fixed the problem. I was concerned at first after I paid and the draining was poor again next day that I would get charged more. But Mike in the office assured me that I wouldn't get charged any more labour to fix the problem they'd agreed to fix. On the final visit the plumber left an invoice, but when I called back about it, Mike readily agreed that I shouldn't have been billed again. So I just paid for the additional parts. They also offered advice as to how to prevent future blockages for our type of plumbing. Very happy with the customer service, and will definitely use again for future plumbing needs.

I had my hot water tank stop working during a cold weather snap, and my husband works out of town so I did everything I could and I had no luck. After day 2 of no hot water I called another place in town and they told me they might be able to come. After waiting most of the day without hearing a word I spoke to a friend who recommended me to Thompson Mechanical. I called and got to speak to someone right away and within an hour a technician came and fixed my issue. I have 3 kids and no family around so I was so grateful that a technician was able to come right away and fix my minor problem. Thompson Mechanical was very professional, knowledgeable, honest and prompt. I will always call this company if and when I have other issues and I highly recommend this company!

This is a replacement review now that I understand that previous staff we experienced problems with are no longer at TM. TM installed and services a furnace and hot water tank in a rental property. Being hours away I need to be able to trust and rely on a company and its personnel a lot. I have dealt with Mike for years and trust him and believe that if problems exist and he knows about them that he will do his best to rectify them. I look forward to working together for years to come.

Josh came out first thing this morning to replace my old sump pump that had quit working late last night. Very thankful of his quick, courteous and professional service!

A huge thank you to Matt at Thompson Mechanical for coming to our home on short notice to fix our furnace. He replaced our seized blower motor and came out to repair on holiday Family Day.Highly recommend!

Mike, Ryan and Josh are very professional, friendly, and efficient. I had to call them twice within a month to get my gas fireplaces and furnace up and running properly. I would highly recommend Thompson Mechanical as they do a great job.Carin Taylor
