Vaughan Optometric Clinic (Costco)

Absolute worst optometrist office. My wife was wrongly prescribed and we wasted $500 on glasses (you'd think it would be standard practice to ask how the current glasses are and if they are fine, the new prescription shouldn't be all that different). Complain and they say too bad - literally. My son goes in and guess what...wrong prescription again but we caught it before buying glasses by second guessing it with another optometrist. Complain and the answer is - too bad once again. You save about $20 going here instead of going to a real optometrist. Are you really saving? Don't trust your eyes or your money to this office...brutal.

It's my worst eye exam experience ever!!If I can give a negative 5 stars I would!My appointment was at 1pm, got there at 1240pm said too early, which make sense. So walked around the store and went back at 1255pmDue to the covid 19, they have blocked off the optical section and you have to stand outside and wait for a Costco staff.Finally a Costco staff approached me and told him I have an eye exam at 1pm. He said there is still someone in there, she is taking longer than expected. Then I asked can I walk around and you guys call me when she's done. He said the eye exam staff will come talk to me. Waited another 5 minutes for the eye exam staff and she finally came out. She gave me two forms to fill out. Then she disappeared for a good 15 minutes.She eventually returned and I asked how much longer. She said 5 more minutes.And mean while the next appoint , the 1:30pm showed up at well.So I finally get to go inside at like 1:25pmI don't mind the wait but how they handled it and their attitude was very bad. They tried to ignore me the whole time, never explain to me the situation and never apologized, not the assistant or the optometrist.The eye exam wise is bad too. Seemed like she was rushing and doesn't care at all.Not sure if she is trying to make up for lost time or she's just like this as I was in and out in 15 minutes.All my previous exams I was told I have slightly higher than normal eye pressure, but she was the first one to not mention it to me. When I asked about it, she said it was abnormal but still normal. She later asked if I wanted to be referred to a specialist. Shouldn't something like this be mentioned in the first place?I chose this place because I wanted to get everything done in one trip to Costco. Do the exam, walk out and order via the Costco optical, but from now on I will never do my exam there!
