I’m so sick of all the terrible patterns and options for boys’ clothes. Thistle and Wren is one of the few options in the city where I can find gorgeous prints and fabrics for my son. I love supporting local when I can and this shop makes it such and treat to go out looking for outfits for my little guy that aren’t just trucks and camo.

A wonderful little shop with some of the cutest brands. I have both purchased and consigned with the shop and am always satisfied with the outcome. Some of my favorite items have come from this store, and I love they consign everything for us when we are done to continue the cycle. The owner has such a warm and loving spirit, and her staff are always welcoming but not overbearing. I love the attention to reducing fast fashion, and the convenience of dropping the items off and having her donate the rest. Thank you, I found selling on my own to be never ending frustration and I am so pleased to have this arrangement.

Crazy, crazy expensive prices. I saw used items I paid less for brand new. I have no idea how they stay in business. I find everyone I have dealt with there snobby. No “hello” or anything… I don’t know. I love supporting local businesses but this one doesn’t do it for me.

Beautiful shop full of so many wonderful (often female/locally owned companies). This shop is run by two moms who are very passionate about what they do. Very helpful and great customer service. I have also had a great experience with their consignment. Love visiting this lovely little shop whenever I am visit Fernwood

I love the new location in Fernwood! The bright, open, gorgeous store is filled with great consignment items but lots of new items also. The boutique items include great dresses for Momma and little ones, books, beauty products and baby items. Great job growing this small business ladies!

I shop mostly pre-loved unless necessary, so we look everywhere including Varage and marketplace. I love that at this store I get to choose from new and pre-loved. The owners are lovely and I appreciate the quality and care they take into curating some harder-to-find bigger name brands, and also support and showcase smaller businesses. The services and effort they offered over the pandemic closures was also outstanding. It’s a unique store for Victoria!

Thistle & Wren is my go to shop for baby gifts.They have collected the most beautiful items in a series of different price points. The staff help me create lovely gift giving items. I wish my kids were still little so I could shower them with the excellent items found at Thistle & Wren.

Sounds like a scam for ripping off people who consign here. Let me get this straight, from the owner's explanations below, a person who has an item of clothing to put up for consignment can't get their item back if it doesn't sell, unless they break their contract, pay a $20 fee (for their own item) and can't consign with this store again. Excuse me? The owner claims her staff might have to do some work in order to give you your item back. News flash, your staff already get paid to work there, so the extra fee is a gouge and it stinks to high heaven. Meanwhile the owner accuses another customer of not behaving like an adult? Pot calling the kettle black.

I love Thistle & Wren! Candace had a beautiful vision and dream and turned it into an incredible reality. The store is gorgeous, the staff are so friendly and caring, and the products are thoughtfully selected and support so many local businesses. I have loved consigning my clothes at the shop too. I love this shop for both me and my daughter. We used to frequent the old location and are loving the new, bigger space. I really appreciate that they take the time to research and bring in ethical or local brands. I also appreciate that they have higher end consignment items and have had great experiences consigning my own items here. Highly recommend giving this beautiful store a visit.
