Absolutely beautiful store! And such helpful employees. The prices were comparable to big box stores and they have waaay better selection. Why go anywhere else when you can shop local?

When you try to shop local and you're met with utterly disappointing service. Or should I say...no service at all. I come into the store and the best I can get is a sideways glance from one employee out of the three that were working there. They had zero stock of the lamp that I wanted and apparently, it takes 2 days to check if they can even order it in. Two days later, the lamps are at considerable mark up from the price in-store and within their own online store. How does a lamp go from $142 in store, $165 in their online store, and up to $195 all within 2 days? I understand that things change, but maybe train your employees to say hello and ask if a customer requires service right from the get go? Disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic- from the presentation of all the lights glimmering in the windows to the kind of staff that greet you once you enter this place is a place in Prince George that must be appreciated. I dare to say if you were visiting Prince George to stop in here to look around and buy some lites The staff are also very pleasant to talk to. I don’t know how to describe it, but it smells good and I recommend picking up the vintage lightbulbs. They look vintage, but they’re saving the environment in a modern way. Very awesome.

Walked the whole store and not even a hello, two people working would not even make eye contact and just stared at their computer.

Beautiful options, helpful staff. I went to rona, home hardware, and home depot first but I couldn't find what I was looking for design wise. McGinnis met all my lighting needs.

They r able to locate bulbs and tubes that other stores can't or won't.

Needed some new lights for the house and this was certainly the place to go. You have everything from classic looks to modern lighting bulbs and LEDs got what we needed and couldn't be happier. Thank you for the amazing service!

I love this store, they have great looking, good quality lamps and fixtures plus specialty lighting for artists and crafter. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

The besft lighting store in town. Great selection and technically expert staff. Will bring in non-stock items.

Lighting store located downtown. Price is higher than big box store but way larger selection and variety available.
