Iroquois Trail Camp Site
I have been a seasonal camper at this park. My husband and I weren't very impressed with owners careless attention to detail, unless it was going to make him an extra dollar. (very very money hungry man). Everything has a price ie; internet per month was 40$, and its monitered for bandwidth. Charges seasonal campers 10$ per boat launch. Rules change daily and can't have more than 1 vehicle at your site, that you pay for. Can not have a golf cart for elderly people having trouble walking. Laundry facilities and public washrooms very dirty. Pool as new as it is, is very green. Very dumpy front extrance, with trucks trailers and long grass.Unforunately Ken needs to stop being in everyones business and spend some much needed tlc on his rundown park! Will not recommend to others.

I have had my trailer at the park now since 2014 and I thoroughly enjoy my weekends there. The park is in a beautiful setting overlooking the Trent River . It is a peaceful and friendly park , where everyone has good times out at their campfires with friends and family, while still being respectful late at night of the sleeping :) The owners keep the park very clean and are very approachable if you have any issues. The pool is a good size and has a real resort feel to it. The location of Iroquois Trail Campsite is excellent, as you have Prince Edward County, Trenton, Cambelford and Sandbanks all close by. Totally looking forward to my little piece of paradise at Iroquois Trail Campsite starting this weekend.Happy camping everyone!!

First of all, the park has new ownership and is now called Trent River Estates. We are seasonal campers and so far our interactions with the new managers has been excellent, with both of them always willing to give a helping hand to us newbies".Sadly

Clean ..owners are friendly but if you are not a seasonal camper they stick you out by the highway ..which is very noisy ..great view of the riverI would hate to be a seasonal camper when all you hear is traffic from a very busy highway

We have only been here a few weeks and I cannot say enough about this park..We totally are enjoying being here, fishing is awesome..Owners keep this park clean and are very outgoing and helpful..The pool is immaculate. It is a small park which is nice and no loud parties.Everyone respects people's quiet times..My husband and I love this park.

Bad experience at that campground! I was seasonal camper at that campground last year. The owner doesn't respect his own rules he made. We asked if we can put a gazebo 12 X 12 and a smaller one 10 X 10, he said to us no problem! After a month he came to see us to remove the curtains because it was blocking the view of the rear neighbor. We said to him it's me I'm paying for the view not the rear neighbour. The curtains were there because the neighbors were smoking like a cheminey and it was blocking partially the smoke. This is the truth! Your not allowed to place your gazebo at the place you want. It has to be on the choice of the owner. If you have no dogs that is a good thing. About Hydro, you have to discuss with the owner how it works because you will be surprise of the rate and ask for a receipt . It's really hard to make some friend ( too many clicks). There is almost no activities for the kids. It's not looking like a real camping! If you have the choice, go somewhere else.

Spent a season there. The place, itself, is mediocre. The trailer in front of you will obscure any view of the river across the road - lots of drama...yet, nothing happening. The owners were outrageous micromanagers - Him, riding around on his golfcart enforcing new rules which only apply to some. Her , chasing down your visitors to demand cash for entering the park (despite paying for a seasonal visitors pass) They will nickle and dime you to death at every curve. (visitors pass, docking fees (in and out), wifi that seemed to get turned off) The swimming pool was seldom open and theres virtually no activities in the park. The highlight? Watch your hydro bills and get reciepts. (They tend to not like to give them) The energy board would love to hear about their gouging! $400 for 7 weekends, (Sat and Sun) no fridge, no air. My bill was low..some ran close to a grand and more. It could be a decent place and they could have earned 3 stars if it weren't for the ridiculous pair that run the place! If you don't comply with their whims they will tell someone to tell you that you aren't allowed back on the premises! Did I mention that its next door to a firing range?? BANG BANG BANG!!! Stay away.
