Silkstone and Granite Ltd.

I had a terrible experience with Silkstone and Granite. Initially, they were super friendly and professional in the showroom. But at installation time, they used poorly skilled workers that had terrible workmanship. They also installed a below grade sink that looks terrible and is impossible to clean. When I brought up my concerns, their immediate response was “then just sue us”. They know no one is going to litigate for kitchen countertops. Buyer beware if dealing with this company.

I had my kitchen counter (granite) and the vanity counters (Quartz) supplied and installed by Silkstone & Granite. Highly skilled workmanship, top quality products, exceptional customer service and very competitive price. After the first meeting and then the template, Silkstone was able to finish my project just over a week. If time is of the essence to your project; than Silkstone would be your right choice. Laurie (the owner) was pleasantly to do business with. Thank you for the great job.BTW ; Laurie does not own or drives the Cadillac SUV .

One best stone fabricator in Calgary I've found. The store has many selections for popular stone. It also provides competitive or the best price for time consuming and high skilled required stone trimming task and gives me a quote very fast. Their loverly sweet store clerk Amanda is very friendly and helpful, helping me to find a small piece of stone I want for interior design in the store's outside yard in a raining muddy day. Their price for fabrication is so competitive that it becomes the first place I will think of if I need another fabrication. The store owner himself is the fabricator. He is very capable. If you can explain to him, he can make everything for you. It seems to me that this is the only store in Calgary that will accept high skilled required task. I'll recommend it to everyone who wants to customize something unique and special within budget. The fabricator is willing to take any challenge and not afraid of trouble. Despite of the trouble, the cost is very reasonable.

Got quartz countertops for our kitchen and bathroom and absolutely love them. No issues or defects, the measurements were taken perfectly and the install went exactly as was described to us. The workers were professional, efficient and kind. We had alot of questions that Laurie took the time to answer and he even recommended a handyman who leveled our breakfast bar to turn into an island. It's not often you encounter a business that blows the job out of the water which is why they deserve the spotlight. Also to mention, Laurie designed the cuts in the slab so that we only had to pay for 1 slab to do our kitchen island, kitchen counter and bathroom counter so the cost was very reasonable. The slab is flawless and has the veining in the perfect place. Very impressed and happy with his place.

Just had new granite countertops installed, finished product is perfect, great experience with everyone at Silkstone and Granite. Highly recommend working with them if your in the market. Price was competitive from our research, installation and product are top notch.Never saw how anyone drove their vehicle so sticking with 5 stars. ;-)

Worked with Silkstone to help adjust my granite for a sink install. They were exceptional, workers were professional. Highly recommend!

Every step of our experience from the first time we walked into the showroom in Canmore to when the installers pulled out of the driveway was exceptional. Every member of their team was friendly and professional and the office communicated with us regularly so we knew exactly the progress of our project. New quartz counters look amazing. Cannot say enough positive things about Silkstone and Granite.

Worked with Silkstone for my kitchen reno. Staff were amazing to work with, install was quick, easy, and well done! I am VERY happy with the results! I even had some funky asks" for a breakfast bar etc and staff were accommodating and helpful and make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Will definitely use them again for the bathrooms when they get renovated and would recommend to friends and family to use for their countertop needs!"

Fabulous service! I highly recommend them. Laurie the owner helped us tremendously, taught us all about the different products and knew what we wanted before we did. All the staff were a real pleasure to work with. From the ladies at the front desk, to the guys who came out to install my granite.
