PACC Adult Education Centre and Vocational Training

I recently graduated from the secretarial studies program and I have to say wow! The teachers are kind, professional, organized, and eager to teach you. When the pandemic hit, they were quick to adjust to online teaching and support each student individually. I am currently enrolled in their medical secretary program and I'm looking forward to my future in the medical field.

Thank you for your wonderful store and the restaurant Le saucier ! Staff is kind and your cakes are amazing. The best food in Lasalle ! You are No 1 ....the most exciting place to discover on this side of the island. I really like your products ! I can,t wait to come back.See you soon. I will go crazy during vacations when you are closed.

This is a very good vocational training centre! I took the Administration Professional program and I am so glad I did, because the teachers are amazing and, with the wide-range of skills I was taught, it will always be of use to me, regardless of the industry I am in.

I took the Administrative program back in 2015, as well as the Medical Secretary program in 2016, both were the best programs to take. Extremely helpful, very resourceful, especially if you want to have a career in a hospital setting. The teachers were amazing and their added knowledge in the field helped make the classes more interesting. The programs teaches you the necessary skills you need to make this a future career. Thanks to both programs, at the end of the Medical Secretary program I was offered a position at the Jewish General Hospital which is where I still currently work to this day!!

Truly a great institution, all teachers and staff here very very kind and generous.

I had a great time here, completed my high school diploma (fell behind in math and French) and briefly attended a butchery trade course. In my experience the teachers in adult ed were great, friendly, and engaging, but the teacher I had for the butchery trade was off-putting and felt negative so I dropped out.The school is also in a great spot, with a large park and stores close by.

The best cooking school dining room experience I ever have for the past 20 years. I am a regular customer there. Now, it's take out only from the food boutique because of the pandemic measures since about 2 years.

Here is my actual opinion on PACC. I am currently a student here.They have a lot of courses here you can take vocational or adult education.Also it’s a government school so most of the programs here’s are unpaid and tuition free which is nice but then again your loosing a lot since it’s government and not privatized. So services here are not decent and should change that ASAP.Other than it’s a nice school. It’s near the shops and it’s near residences as well. It has parks nearby but it’s far from the main road of Newman.What is difficult is that the teachers here are somewhat okay. Most of them support you others not which is neutral for me.The school is pretty clean as well they have good custodians taking care of the school.The school needs to renovate or make it private so that better services are offered. Or make it half half like government pays half and we pay half.Other than that they need to make sure schools are important. They need to change and make sure students need to be better and not the opposite.They need to make the school Leed Platinum, Zero pollution and waste. Adaptable to climate change and global warming. More bike, and better public transit options and just more outdoor designs.I do hope they improve the school for the future of students who want to stay here.
