A Destination bookstore for book lovers! A combination of used and new books on a wide variety of topics - you can tell that the selection is deliberate and thoughtful. I love the BC titles and staff picks on the front shelves. I want to give this store a 5 star rating but it guts me that it isn't wheelchair accessible. :( The bottom level is level entry and no step - but the technical and academic (anthropology, history, science etc) titles and study area are up large flight of stairs with no elevator. Main floor sections include mysteries, popular fiction, memoir, religion, self-help, BC books, travel, fantasy and sci fi and a nice children's books section.

Best used bookshop in Nanaimo. A very large and varied stock. And the prices here are superb: Great value for your money, particularly if you invest in a membership. Don’t miss the vintage section, where there are usually lots of hidden treasures. I love the $1 clearance shelves too! Staff are always welcoming and helpful.

It's weird that I've lived in Nanaimo for nearly four years but have never gone into this delightful bookstore.For a community organization bookstore, the variety of book genres is very good and I thought that the selection of poetry was excellent.This is a great place if you love nothing more than to browse books and discover surprising treasures of all kinds!
