Kirin Seafood Restaurant (Richmond)
Kirin is the staple of Vancouver high end Chinese cuisine! It’s been around for at least 2 decades and has never falters in their quality. Service is very good and the food is fantastic. If you have friends from out of town and would like to show them great Chinese food, this is the place. Also great for Dim Sum. Get the Lobster!!

Went there and tried their Abalone and Lobster Special menu. One of the best meals I had in Vancouver area. We also arrived there late around 9pm, but their service is still outstanding.

We recently moved to the area from NYC, so our standards for authentic Canto dim sum are high. Food is good quality! The environs are clean and classy. We got a reservation for 10am (opening hour) a day ahead of time, and the place was already packed when we arrived. The cons: the menu is a bit smaller than usual, and prices are understandably higher than usual.

This restaurant makes me feel back home. I wish there are more dim sum restaurants in the US. Everything is at expected level of taste.The dim sums are very tasty and freshly made. I like the veggies too. ( flavor infused.The shrimp dumplings are very juicy too.Will for sure come again.

Kirin Seafood Restaurant (Richmond)
From breakfast (dim sum) to dinner (receptions). Most of my important memories came from this place.They have a wide selection of food depending on your acquired taste. You can never go wrong with their seafood. However, the fried chicken was overcooked once so far. They rectified it afterward.Good app platter for dinner and, of course, who can say no to abalone!

This was our first time here and the service and staff was super helpful and friendly! The Peking Duck is a must try! They gave us great recommendations and even gave us some complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. Will definitely be coming back again

Exceptional service! We usually come to Kirin for dim sum, but today we came for dinner and tried the whole abalone and lobster special menu, which has 6 courses. I only remembered to take a photo of the first course after I started eating, and I forgot to take photo of the dessert, which was 椰奶西米露 (coconut milk sago drink). For the appetizer, I thought it would be better if the smoked salmon was sashimi, and I think the fish patty was deep fried instead of pan fried? It tasted a little stale. We were a group of 4. My mom and I both had stomachache after coming home. My dad didn’t have stomachache and I don’t know about the 4th person. The soup tasted ok. The sauce of the third course was very good, everything in the third course was tasty. I liked the lobster as well. I’m always a fan of fried rice and I think they did a good job with the fried rice. The dessert was nice and refreshing.

Reservation, reservation, reservation or get lucky like us. Wife and I tried on two other occasions on a dimsum craving whim to be told that there are no tables available for over an hour. This time around 11:15amish, there was a table available but we would have to finish within an hour. Let's do it!!Friendly and efficient staff, very polite. Food was tasty and visually appealing. Pricing very reasonable. The restaurant was full and had the beautiful fun chatter buzz (pre-covid times). Good times are back!!
