As much as my favourite branch of the London Public Library is the Main one, this one is a stand out for my needs in Eastern London. While I never knew this branch by its original building, the current one is a beautiful welcoming one when I am in that area.What I really appreciated was their battery recycling program which used a large plastic carboy to deposit depleted batteries.

A Great atmosphere with wonderful staff who are always welcoming and willing to assist in any way that they can. Crouch Library offers a wide range of Activities and a monthly calendar shoes the highlights that are going on at Crouch, a great place for all ages, lots of Youth programs

I would have given it 1 star if it didn't have a nice atmosphere (thanks to the huge windows letting natural light in). *Do NOT come here if you want a quiet place to study*. One librarian at this location spoke so loud, we could hear her on the other side of the library. It was so so distracting we ended up leaving.

I visited this library to enquire about use and membership card. I was served in no time and I had my card within five minutes. Any questions that I had were satisfactorily answered.

I love the food box program that is run by the community resource center here. $10 once a month for a box full of fresh veggies and a couple of new recipes to try based on that months selection.
